The teaser of the continuous drama “Piple: A.I. to Kekkon Seikatsu Hajimemashita” that is featured Kaji Yuuki as the main actor, is released. The video that started with Kaji's narration introduce the characters of the year 2030 where AI and human co-exist.
“Piple: A.I. to Kekkon Seikatsu Hajimemashita” is based on the novel “Piple” that depicts the romance and marriage life between a human and AI in the future Kyoto. It takes place in the year 2030 where AI can be welcomed to the family and be married to. The boring salaryman Tsumiki Kenichi was shocked after his date with his senpai in the company that he adored and hold feeling for a long time, had failed. After that, he bought the beauty AI with the sexual relations function, welcomed her as his wife and named her Piple.
However, for some reason, she rejected the night activity on the first night of their wedding. This led to Tsumiki visiting the developer of Piple and encounter the mysterious AI female researcher, Miyama Kaede who has zero empathy. After finding out that there was a problem with the initial configuration, he was told that there it is not possible to change Piple's setting. On the other hand, Miyama gave shocking advice to Tsumiki…
The cast are Kaji Yuuki as the 30's single male protagonist, Tsumiki Kenichi, Ayaka Wilson as the humanoid AI's Piple, Ohara Sakurako as the mysterious AI researcher, Miyama Kaede, and featured Oshinari Shugo, Yamada Yusuke, Usuda Asami, and Hamada Mari as the support role.
The teaser starts with Kaji narration with the night scenery where Kyoto Tower can be seen at the back. Then, the characters of the year 2030, who are living while troubling and holding onto something respectively, made their appearance. The highlight of this teaser is the new form of love that Tsumiki, etc. will encounter in the main show.
The continuous drama “Piple: A.I. to Kekkon Seikatsu Hajimemashita” will air on WOWOW Prime from May 18, 2020.
