It was announced that the second season of TV anime “Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World” (Re:Zero), set to broadcast in Apr. 2020, will be postponed 2020. Sadly, the production committee announced that the anime will be postponed. The production committee says that the novel coronavirus has had a significant impact on the production schedule, and thus the broadcast has been postponed to July.

The production committee said the following regarding the reason for postponement: “Regarding season two of “Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World”, which was set to start in April, the novel coronavirus, which has become a worldwide issue, has also had a significant impact on the production schedule, so we had no choice but to postpone the planned broadcast.”

At the same time, they also clarified the following: “We are currently planning to start the broadcast in July; when the details regarding the broadcast date and time are decided, we will inform you again through the official website and twitter” and they also left a special message aimed at the fans of the show: “To all the fans who are looking forwards to the show, we’d like to give our deepest apologies for making you worried and any inconvenience caused. We appreciate your understanding.”

The second season of “Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World” is currently set to begin broadcasting in July.
