Walt Disney Japan has announced that they will postpone the release of the movies, “Onward'' that was supposed to be released on Mar. 13, 2020 and the live-action movie “Mulan” that was supposed to be released in Apr. 17 due to the ongoing issues with the new form of coronavirus.
“Onward” is the latest Disney / Pixar movie. It is a story of a brother's adventure based in a world that WAS once full of magic.
“Mulan”, on the other hand, is one of the latest Disney's live-action movies such as “Beauty and the Beast” and “Aladdin”. It depicts the days of the battle of the main character Mulan, the “strongest heroine in Disney history”.
Disney said the following regarding this postponement, “We have decided that we should postpone the release for the sake of making the health and safety of visitors and their families our top priority as a preventive measure to consider how infectious the new coronavirus is “, and also commented, “We're sorry for the inconvenience to those who have been looking forward to the movies. We would appreciate your understanding.”
The rescheduled release date for “Onward” will be released sometime soon.While “Mulan” is rescheduled for May. 22, 2020.Further details will be announced on the official website.
Please note that tickets that were already pre-ordered can still be used for the rescheduled screenings..
