The stage play "Fullmetal Alchemist" will be staged in Osaka and Tokyo in March 2023. Additional character visuals have been disclosed, including Alphonse Elric, Roy Mustang, Riza Hawkeye, Alex Louis Armstrong, Maes Hughes, and Jean Havoc. “Fullmetal Alchemist" is a masterpiece dark fantasy comic by Arakawa Hiromu. It was serialized in the monthly "Shonen Gangan" magazine from 2001 to 2010. Nicknamed "Hagaren," the series is enormously popular among men and women of all ages for its battle action using alchemy, its epic and detailed story that trespasses eras and nations, and its vividly depicted characters with unique and charming personalities. The comic series has sold over 80 million copies worldwide, along with numerous cross-media contents including TV anime series, animated films, video games, as well as live-action films. A new smartphone game was also released this summer. The stage play "Fullmetal Alchemist" is the first stage adaptation of the comic that has been produced, seeking further development to the series. The play is written and directed by Ishimaru Sachiko, who has become a leading figure in the theater industry in recent years by producing various shows, from musicals to straight plays. Ishimaru is known for her passionate stage directions and training of young actors. The show also brings together active creators and cast members in diverse genres of entertainment. The Elric brothers will be played by three actors, who have passed the four-month audition process: Isshiki Yohei and Hirono Ryota for the leading role of Edward Elric, and Mashima Shuto for Alphonse Elric. Additional character visuals, which have just been disclosed, include Alphonse Elric in human form, played by Mashima Shuto, and Roy Mustang, played by Aoki Jin and Wada Takuma. Others include Riza Hawkeye, played by Tsukui Minami, Alex Louis Armstrong, played by Yoshida Metal, Maes Hughes, played by Okamoto Yuki and Jean Havoc, played by Kimizawa Yuki. Stage play "Fullmetal Alchemist" will have an Osaka and Tokyo performance in March 2023. This time, the visual of Winry Rockbell along with Izumi Curtis, Lust, Envy, Scar, Solf J. Kimblee, and King Bradley was released as part of the 3rd character visuals. "Fullmetal Alchemist" is the pioneer of the dark fantasy manga, written by Arakawa Hiromu, and serialized on Monthly "Shonen Gangan" from 2001 to 2010. It is also known as "Hagaren", and gained a large popularity from various people of different age and genders due to the battle action with the alchemy, the large scale, precise story featuring the history and countries, and the liveliness of the unique, charming characters. The manga has exceeded 8 million copies in circulation worldwide, and it was depicted in various format, such as the TV anime, theatrical film, game, and live action films with the latest smartphone game being released in summer 2022. Stage play "Fullmetal Alchemist" was announced as a new development, and this is the first stage play for this series. The director and script writer for this stage play is Ishimaru Sachiko, who has handled and performed passionately various works from musical to a straight play, and trained the young actors, as well as being the existence that is leading the stage play industry in late years. Joining along with her are the creators and casts that are active in entertainments of various genres. The casts for the Elric brothers are handled by three casts that were casted from the audition that was held over four months. The main lead, Edward Elric is played by Isshiki Yohei and Hirono Ryouta while Alphonse Elric is played by Mashima Shuto. In the 3rd character visuals, it was revealed that Winry Rockbell is played by Okabe Rin (AKB48), Scar by Hoshi Tomoya, and King Bradley by Tatsumi Takuro. The remaining revealed casts are Ono Hikari as Izumi Curtis, Sao Kurama as Lust, Hiramatsu Raima as Envy, and Suzuki Shogo as Solf J. Kimblee. Stage play "Fullmetal Alchemist" will open its curtains at Osaka's Shin Kabuki-za from March 8 to March 12, 2023, and at Tokyo's Nippon Seinen-kan Hall from March 17 to Mach 26, 2023. From the movie "Fullmetal Alchemist: Revenge Scar" (to be released on May 20), the third installment of the "Fullmetal Alchemist ‘PERFECT GUIDE’”, "#3 MESSAGE," is now available. In the program, messages from Arakawa Hiromu, the author of the original work, and Park Romi, who plays Ed in the animated version, are available for viewing in preparation for the final version of the film. “Fullmetal Alchemist" is a battle fantasy series by Arakawa Hiromu that began serialization in "Monthly Shōnen Gangan" in 2001 and gained popularity for its appealing characters, elaborate storyline, and one-of-a-kind worldview. In a live-action diptych announced as a new project to mark the 20th anniversary of the serialization, the first movie, "Fullmetal Alchemist," was released in December 2017 and was a huge hit, grossing approximately 1.2 billion yen at the box office. The sequel films, "Fullmetal Alchemist: Revenge Scar" and "Fullmetal Alchemist: the Final Alchemy" will be released nationwide on May 20 and June 24, respectively. The third installment of the “Fullmetal Alchemist ‘PERFECT GUIDE’”, "#3 MESSAGE," has now been released. The narration is by Hongou Kanata, who plays Envy in the movie version. The program also introduces a message from the original author, Arakawa Hiromu. Arakawa said, "I was really happy to have Ed and Al's journey drawn out to the end. The original story is condensed, and the events are so packed. I really hope that fans of the original work will watch the film, because it really is all a highlight." A message from Park Romi, who plays the main character Ed in the anime version, was also released. The film includes footage of her visit with Yamada Ryosuke, who stars in the live-action version, to the "20th Anniversary Fullmetal Alchemist Exhibition RETURNS," an exhibition of original artwork currently being held at Hirakata Park in Osaka Prefecture, as well as a conversation with double Ed. In addition, Arakawa's top three highlights of "Revenge Scar" were also presented in the form of scenes. In third place is a scene in which Ed and Al meet and communicate with Lin Yao (Watanabe Keisuke), the 12th prince of the Shin Dynasty, who is after the Philosopher's Stone for its immortality power. The second place goes to the scene where Ed forces Winry to let go of his gun during the confrontation with "Scar," (Arata Makkenyu) a scarred man who has sworn revenge against the national alchemist. In first place was the scene where Fu (Kakei Toshio), Lin's bodyguard, calls out to his injured grandson Lan Fan (Kuroshima Yuina), "Don't you have an arm?". “Fullmetal Alchemist: Revenge Scar" will be released nationwide on May 20 .
