The second work of CONTELLING, a brand which finds the joy of drama reading performed at Maihama Amphitheater on Mar. 13, 2022. The performance photos have been released. Following the first 'For Now, Oolong Tea,' Morita Tetsuya (Farewell, Youth Light) was in charge of the script and director for this work. Stunning voice actors such as Umehara Yuichiro, Enoki Junya, Sakamoto Chika, Seki Tomokazu, Hikasa Yoko, and Morikubo Shotaro dressed in chic costumes unified in black, performed well for the first comedy reading drama. This performance consists of eight parts: 'Parents' Grace,' 'Oaji-ya,' 'Please Give Me a Daughter,' 'Those Who Open the Door,' 'Old Friends,' 'Each Lifestyle,' 'Three Choices,' and 'Dream Chaser.' It is an omnibus-style control of a story, and is full of highlights such as the role of a grandmother for Umehara, the role of Showa's father played by Morikubo, and Seki's role as a crazy director. The meaning of 'Parent's Grace' which is also the title of the performance has become clear. At the curtain call of Chiakiraku, each cast who challenged the comedy drama reading for the first time expressed their impressions one after another with excitement, such as "It was really fun!," and finally Morita who acted as a scriptwriter and director took the stage. Morita said, "I had fund watching it." He expressed his admiration for the voice actors, for their ability to play the script many times. "But there are to many ad-libs," which made the casts a little confused yet made the venue even more exciting. In addition, the night performance can be viewed in the archive until 23:59 on March 21 (Monday). (Tickets are available until 21:00 on March 21)
The second season of the TV anime "Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online," a spinoff of "Sword Art Online," is set to air in 2024 after six years, with character visuals and returning cast information also revealed.
"Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online" (GGO) is the second season of the TV anime based on the work of Kawahara Reki, author of "Sword Art Online" (SAO), and illustrated by the duo of writer Tachibana Koushi and character designer Kuroboshi Kouhaku, serialized in "Dengeki Bunko." It is a "gun action" spinoff of "SAO" set in the next-generation VRMMO "Gun Gale Online," where Kirito and Sinon first meet.
The first season of the TV anime, aired in April 2018, depicted a battle royale with bullets flying between the protagonist, Llenn, and her arch-enemy, Pitohui. The detailed depiction of firearms and the powerful battle scenes have been highly praised not only by SAO fans but also by gun enthusiasts and international anime fans.
While the production of the second season of "GGO" and the return of Kusunoki Tomori as Llenn were announced in 2023, the airing schedule has now been confirmed for 2024. Additionally, returning cast members Hikasa Yoko as Pitohui, Okitsu Kazuyuki as M, and Akasaki Chinatsu as Fukajiro, along with new character visuals, have been revealed. Comments from the three actors have also been received.
"Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online" is set to air in 2024.
The TV anime “Shangri-La Frontier” announced that the broadcast will start in October 2023. The first key visual and trailer have been released. “Shangri-La Frontier" is a "game x fantasy" adventure set in the near future where games that use display screens are classified as retro. The story follows Hizutome Rakuro, also known as Sunraku, a "trash-game hunter" who has devoted his passion to clearing "trash games" whose contents have not caught up with the latest VR technology. One day, Sunraku challenges “Shangri-La Frontier,” a “god-tier game” that has a total of 30 million players. The official website announced that the anime will be broadcast in October and released the first key visual and trailer. The visual depicts Sunraku/Hizutome Rakuro (CV. Uchida Yuuma) in the center, Arthur Pencilgon/Amane Towa (CV. Hikasa Youko) and Emul (CV. Hidaka Rina) on the left, and Oicazzo/ Uomi Kei (CV. Koichi Makoto) and Saiga 0/Saiga Rei (CV. The first PV also shows Sunraku's "real face," new game images not seen in the project trailer, encounters with enemies, Oicazzo's battle scenes, and a new character. The beautiful images will surely make the fan’s heart race. Moreover, the first key visual will be displayed as a giant advertisement at “AnimeJapan 2023” on March 25 and 26, so be sure to check it out when you attend the event. “Shangri-La Frontier" will begin broadcasting in October 2023, and we look forward to hearing more soon. © Katarina・Fuji Ryousuke・Kodansha/ “Shangri-La Frontier” Production Committee
