"Natsume's Book of Friends" Enjoy the Summer Festival With Nayanko-sensei! Natsume Takashi in a Yukata Looks Fragile… Ichiban Kuji Lottery
From "Natsume's Book of Friends" comes "Natsume's Book of Friends ~Omatsuri Nayanko-sensei~" an Ichiban Kuji Lottery (no-lose lottery) featuring Nyanko-sensei. The line up of prizes included various items designed with original illustrations, and sales will start on Aug. 22, 2020, at convenience stores, book stores, etc. in Japan.
The Ichiban Kuji Lottery features "Nyanko-sensei", the self-proclaimed bodyguard of the main character Natsume Takashi, from "Natsume's Book of Friends". The goods are designed with original illustrations under the theme of a festival.
The A-prize is a 3D model of the original illustration of Natsume Takashi in a yukata and Nyanko-sensei wearing a mask. Transparent parts are used for the paper lantern and haori, recreating the delicate and airy presence of Natsume looking back with a fragile, yet gentle expression.
There is also a plushy of Nyanko-sensei wearing a mask for B-prize and a plushy of Nyanko-sensei wearing a Hachimaki (twisted towel) around his head for C-prize. If you look carefully, you can see that the mask on the B-prize is not a fox but is actually Madara.
Other prizes are the illustration of Natsume and Nyanko-sensei, which was used for the figure, a card with an original illustration of Natsume enjoying the festival along with Tanuma and Taki, stylish glass goods, etc. The items give off the vibe of a summer festival.
The Last-One-prize, which you can get by drawing the last lot, is "Ikayaki (grilled squid) Nyanko-sensei Plushy", and you can get the same "Natsume and Nyanko-sensei Figure" as the A-prize as the double chance campaign.
There will also be an online "festival" at the Ichiban Kuji Club. Let's enjoy stories related to festivals and mini-games on the special website!
"Ichiban Kuji Natsume's Book of Friends ~Omatsuri Nyanko-sensei~" is priced at 650 JPY per draw (tax included). Sales will start on Aug. 22, 2020, at Family Marts, Mini Stops, other convenience stores, book stores, hobby shops, games centers, etc. in Japan.
