Anime “Spriggan” Begins TV Broadcast on July 7! A Screening Event with Cast Members Including Kobayashi Chiaki and Hosoya Yoshimasa Announced

The anime "Spriggan," currently being distributed on Netflix, will begin its TV broadcast on July 7, 2023. A promotional video and key visual have been released along with this announcement. In addition, on June 17, the first screening event as a 5.1 channel production will be held, with the cast including Kobayashi Chiaki, who plays Ominae Yu, on stage. "Spriggan" is an adventure action drama based on a manga series that appeared in "Weekly Shōnen Sunday" from 1989 to 1996, with an original story by Takashige Hiroshi and illustrations by Minagawa Ryoji. The story follows the adventures of a young boy, Ominae Yu, a special agent "Spriggan" at "Arkham," an organization established to seal the legacy of a super-ancient civilization. The original comic has sold more than 10 million copies in total, with an animated film produced in 1998. Thirty years after its serialization, the anime adaptation has been newly produced by david production under the direction of Kobayashi Hiroshi, director of "Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury" and "Dragon Pilot: Hisone and Masotan". The series was composed and written by Seko Koji of "Chainsaw Man" and "Jujutsu Kaisen," with character design and chief animation director Handa Shuhei of "Little Witch Academia," breathing life into the original story with action and ancient romantic images that make full use of 2D drawing and 3DCG. The first terrestrial broadcast of this work will begin on July 7 at 25:05 on TOKYO MX and on July 8 at 26:30 on Me-television. To commemorate this, a PV and a key visual with the catchphrase "This is a challenge for mankind" were also released. On June 17, an "Anime "Spriggan" 5.1ch First Screening Event Commemorating the TV Communication" will be held, where the main story can be enjoyed in a powerful 5.1ch audio format. The event will be attended by Kobayashi Chiaki (Ominae Yu), Azakami Yohei (Jean Jacquemonde), Ise Mariya (Somei Yoshino), and Hosoya Yoshimasa (Akatsuki Iwao). In conjunction with the event, a poll has been started on the official Twitter page for fans to vote for the episode to be played on screen. It has been announced that "Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout", a TV anime based on an RPG, will start on July 1, 2023. The 1st PV and key visual have been revealed. "Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout" is originally an RPG released from Koei Tecmo Games. The "Atelier" series, which focuses on alchemy, compounding various items, have been popular for over 25 years since "Atelier Marie: The Alchemist of Salburg" was released in 1997. The 1st PV and key visual of the TV anime "Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout", have been revealed. The PV features the character voices of Klaudia (CV.Owada Hitomi), Lent (CV.Terashima Takuma), and Tao (CV.Kondou Yui), in addition to Klaudia (CV.Owada Hitomi) that was featured in the previous teaser. The Atelier world is recreated in more detail, including Kurken Island, where the story is set. The opening theme song is partially revealed too, which is "Golden Ray" by "Sangatsu no Phantasia", a project centered on the vocalist "Mia", who fantasizes a story of endings and beginnings. Lyrics and music composition were handled by Harumakigohan. Sangatsu no Phantasia commented "We sang about ordinary yet special light around us. in the opening theme 'Golden Ray'. “Spy Classroom” 2nd Season Airs in July! Reruns of the 1st Season to Start on April 19

The second season of the TV anime Spy Classroom will start airing in July 2023. A teaser visual and a special trailer have been unveiled. Spy Classroom is based on the novel of the same title that won the 32nd Fantasia Grand Prize. Set in a world where "the war of darkness" is waged by spies from multiple countries, this fantasy depicts a game of deception between girls with no practical experience who belong to "Lamplight", an organization that specializes in impossible missions, and Klaus, the founder of the organization.
