“PUI PUI Molcar” Dialog Interview of Director Misato Tomoki & Production Staff to be Included on Blu-rays! A comment video has also arrived!

The much-talked-about puppet anime "PUI PUI Molcar" will be released on Blu-rays&DVDs on July 28, 2021. This time, they thought ‘the audio commentary of over 30 minutes for the entire episode was not enough!’ so, it was suddenly decided to include additional dialog interview footage on the Blu-rays. At the same time, a comment video has arrived from director Misato Tomoki and production staff Sato Katsura, who have just finished the recording. “PUI PUI Molcar” was broadcast in January 2021 as the first TV anime series directed by a young and talented puppet anime creator Misato Tomoki. It is a short animation of 2 minutes and 40 seconds per episode that has been trending on Twitter since it was first aired and has made a huge impact in Japan and abroad. Even with the audio commentary for all 12 episodes as a video bonus for the software release, it is still a little over 30 minutes. There are many stories that can't be covered in this short amount of time ......, so at the suggestion of Director Misato, a dialog interview with Sato Katsura, a representative of the production staff, was realized. Director Misato was dressed as the annoying driver of DJ Molcar from the first episode, while Sato was dressed as a bank robber from the second episode, and they talked about the difficulties and behind-the scenes stories of the production. In addition, a comment video from both of them after the recording has arrived. In the video, they also talk about the secret stories of the midsummer shooting and what director Misato paused to realize. The "PUI PUI Molcar" Blu-rays will be released on July 28 for 6,800 JPY (tax not included), the DVDs for 2,500 JPY (tax not included), and the DVDs with AR tin badge set for 3,500 JPY (tax not included). “Pui Pui Molcar” Line Stamps will Sooth Your Heart! Available Now

Line stamps of the Molcars from the currently running anime "Pui Pui Molcar" are now available in the "Line Store". "Pui Pui Molcar" is the first TV anime series directed by the up-and-coming puppet anime creator Misato Tomoki. It drew a lot of attention since the show started and even trended on Twitter. The first Line stamps from the series features the pop and cute faces of the Molcars with useful comments such as "Otsukaresama" and "Arigatou". The lineup has a total of 40 stamps in which familiar Molcars like Potato and Shiromo are included. Most Satisfying 2021 Winter Anime was “Pui Pui Molcar”! “Filmarks” Ranking Announced

"Filmarks", one of the largest movie, drama, and anime review services, announced its midterm results for the "2021 Winter Anime Filmarks Ranking". "Pui Pui Molcar" received the highest satisfaction rate (stars), followed by "SK8 the Infinity" in 2nd and "Non Non Biyori Nonstop" in 3rd. "Pui Pui Molcar" in 1st place is set in a world where guinea pigs have become cars. The puppet anime depicts episodes centering on various situations unique to cars. It scored 4.36 out of 5, and received comments such as, "It's so satisfying that I can't believe its only 2 and a half minutes," "I can watch it with an empty mind," " It's just so soothing," and "It has a sarcastic message towards humans". "SK8 the Infinity" in 2nd place is an original anime created under director Utsumi Hiroko with Ookouchi Ichirou as story editor/scriptwriter and produced by Bones. The anime depicts the youth of the unique skaters full of enthusiasm for "S", a dangerous underground race with no rules in which they slide down an abandoned mine on their skateboards. It scored 4.31 out of 5. "Non Non Biyori Nonstop" in 3rd place is the 3rd season of the anime based on the laid-back countryside comedy "Non Non Biyori" by Atto, serialized in "Monthly Comic Alive". "Asahigaoka Branch School" has only 5 students from 1st to 9th grade in total. The story depicts the inconvenient but carefree countryside life of the students at this school. It scored 4.28 out of 5, just shy of 2nd place. The top 3 were followed by "Laid-Back Camp Season 2" in 4th and "World Trigger Season 2" in 5th.
