It has been announced on the TV anime series official website that the broadcast of the second chapter of the TV anime “Haikyuu!! TO THE TOP”, which was scheduled to be broadcast from Jul. 2020, has been postponed due to the spread of the novel coronavirus.
The TV anime “Haikyuu!! TO THE TOP” is based on the original manga by Furudate Haruichi, which is serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump. This work is the 4th season of TV anime series and in the 1st chapter the characters of Hinata Shouyou (voice: Murase Ayumu), Kageyama Tobio (voice: Ishikawa Kaito) and other from the Karasuno High School Volleyball Club training for the Spring High School National Tournament have been depicted.
According to the production committee, “'Haikyuu!! TO THE TOP' Part 2, which was scheduled to be broadcast from Jul. 2020, has been postponed due to the safety measures taken to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus”.
In addition, “We will continue to carefully proceed with the production with the utmost attention to the safety measures taken against the new coronavirus from now on. Thank you for your understanding.”
Details about the new broadcast schedule will be announced on the official social media account as soon as it will be decided.
