The production of the latest TV anime series, “SHOW BY ROCK!!STARS!!” of Sanrio Co. Ltd.’sfirst character project “SHOW BY ROCK!!” is confirmed. The visual of Rioka from “Yokazenohorizon”, with their first appearance in the TV series, can be seen in the key visual.
“SHOW BY ROCK!!” is Sanrio’s first character project toward game and anime fans started in 2012. The TV Anime adaptation was broadcast in 2015 and 2016 while in 2020, “SHOW BY ROCK!! Mashumairesh!!” was broadcast.
At the end of the broadcast of the last episode of “SHOW BY ROCK!! Mashumairesh!!”, a teaser was shown and announced the production of the latest TV Anime series “SHOW BY ROCK!! STARS!”.
The key visual features the gathering of the band active in the series, such as Howan from “Mashumairesh!!”, and Cyan from “Plasmagica”. Rioka from “Yokazenohorizon”, with their first appearance in the TV series, is also depicted.
Moreover, Ikezoe Takahiro (Director of “SHOW BY ROCK!!”, “SHOW BY ROCK!!#”, and “SHOW BY ROCK!! Mashumairesh!!”) will be the General Director, and Yamagishi Daigo (previously handling the animation) will be the director. Together with the casts and staff, it will feature the all stars from the entire TV anime series.
TV Anime “SHOW BY ROCK!!STARS!!” is scheduled to broadcast on TOKYO MX, BS FUJI, Hokkaido Cultural Broadcasting, etc.
