Thank You Mart will release collaboration merchandise celebrating the 45th anniversary of Sanrio’s popular character, Tuxedo Sam. The official online shop is currently accepting pre-orders, and the items will be available at Thank You Mart shops across Japan as they are stocked starting in mid-May.
Debuting in 1979, Tuxedo Sam is a popular Sanrio character celebrating his 45th anniversary in 2024. He has recently gained much attention as a member of the unique boy unit of six members, Hapidanbui, and made it in the top 10 of the 2023 Sanrio Character Ranking.
The new collaboration merchandise will celebrate Tuxedo Sam’s birthday on May 12. The 20 items feature Sam enjoying his party with his brothers Pam and Tam and their friends. Their colorful, pop, and cute designs will lift your spirits when wearing them.
The lineup includes a Carabiner and Keychains made of clear material for a cute summer vibe and Flake Stickers that come in a flat case perfect for carrying around bandages. You’ll also want to check out the Pass Case, which will add flair to your schoolbag, and the gingham-patterned Flat Pouch with a girly design.
