Kimetsu no Yaiba originates from a comic under the same name created by Koyoharu Gotouge, which was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from November 2016 to May 2020.

The story focused on Tanjiro Kamado, whose family was killed by a demon. He enlisted in the Demon Slayer Corps in order to return his sister who became a demon, Nezuko, back to a human being. The devilish swordmanship and the comical scenes that are occasionally drawn are so popular, and have become a big topic not only in Japan but all over the world.

The animation is produced by ufotable, and they have adapted the manga into animation started from TV series “Tanjiro Kamado Risshi-hen” which was aired in April 2019, continued with the movie “Mugen Ressha-hen” (Mugen Train) in October 2020, and TV series adaptation for “Mugen Train Arc” in October 2021. In December 2021 they broadcast the next sequel “Yukaku Hen”, and after its final episode, the production of the third TV anime “Katanakaji no Sato-hen” (Swordsmith’s Village Arc) was announced.

From such “Kimetsu no Yaiba” comes a 1/8 scale figure of Tanjiro Kamado in gorgeous coloring. The powerful model is painted with vibrant colors as if a scene of a fierce battle with the demons comes to life.
