The three cover albums featuring 30 voice actors covering the popular J-pop songs, “‘Recollection’ HIT SONG cover series feat. voice actors~” will be released at once on July 27, 2022. The comments from the participating voice actors, which are Kakihara Tetsuya, Kaji Yuuki, and Namikawa Daisuke have been released.

“‘Recollection’ HIT SONG cover series feat. voice actors~” is a cover albums series of popular J-pop songs. It features a total of 30 songs from the 1990’s, 2000’s, and 2010’s that are known by everyone, and it will be released in three albums by period.

The lineups include, “Robinson (Spitz) by Ono Kensho”, “However (GLAY) by Kakihara Tetsuya”, “Yuki no Hana (Nakashima Mika) by Kaji Yuuki”, “Kiseki (GReeeeN) by Chiba Shouya”, “Zutto Suki Datta (Saitou Kazuyoshi) by Enoki Junya”, and “Kimi ni Todoke (flumpool) by Namikawa Daisuke”.
Not only will they cover songs by male singer, but they will also cover variety of songs, such as from female singer as well as from group. Thus, it will surely be the ultimate series of popular songs, where at least one song will leave a deep impression in you.

The comments from the representative of each albums of each period, Kakihara Tetsuya, Kaji Yuuki, and Namikawa Daisuke have been released.

The series of “‘Recollection’ HIT SONG cover series feat. voice actors~” are “~90’s-00’s Edition~”, “~00’s-10’s Edition~”, and “~10’s-20’s Edition~”, and the price is 3,300 JPY (tax included) for each albums. All three albums will released together on July 27, 2022.

I was excited on which song will I cover when I received this offer!

To make it simple, I was glad that I was able to cover “However” by my idol GLAY-san!!!
The recording was a blast and I enjoyed it together with the director, sound engineer, and all the staff!
It seemed that everyone is a fan of GLAY-san. Haha.

I had sang “However” while putting in all my youth.
It will surely be a nostalgic song to everyone of my generation, and I am happy that the younger generation will get to know more about the songs that lighten up the youth of our generation!

Kaji Yuuki (Covering “Yuki no Hana” in “~00’s-10’s Edition~”)

This is a slightly special project other than the character songs as well as my career as a singer. I believe that by covering these songs, our respective special memory will help to liven up the song. Thus, I am glad to receive this offer.

◆Please tell us your impression and thoughts after the recording
This is a song that I had listen to multiple times during my high school period, and it feels quite strange that I am able to undergone an official recording of it when I become an adult. Haha.
I am feeling both profound and honored at the same time.
As I had previously co-star with Nakashima Mika-san in a musical few years back, I had sang this song while thinking about this fated bond.

To put it simple, I had sang it emotionally.
I am happy that I am able to share my memory with the fans of “Yuki no Hana” as well as to transmit the merits of this song to the firstcomer.

As this is my first time singing without being in a role, I felt quite excited and nervous.

The impression between my version and the original is so different as if it was a totally different song.
It was hard! The hurdle was high! And it makes me fatigue.
