The anime “Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan” will be broadcast on regular TV for the first time. “At a Confessional” and “Mutsu-kabe Hill” will be broadcast on December 18, 2021, and “Millionaire Village” and “The Run” will be broadcast on December 19, at midnight.

“Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan” is a spinoff of “Jojo’s Bizarre Adventures”. Manga artist Kishibe Rohan who has the Stand “Heaven’s Door”, which can turn others into books, letting him read their backstories, secrets, and even write instructions on them. The story follows him using this ability to confront strange incidents and mysterious phenomena. There was also a live-action drama series starring Takahashi Issei.

For the first broadcast of the anime adaptation, “At a Confessional”, “Mutsu-kabe Hill”, “Millionaire Village”, and “The Run” will be broadcast in the order of the original work.
“At a Confessional” is an episode that hasn’t been adapted into the live-action series. It is a horror that begins with Kishibe Rohan going to Venice, Italy to gather material and accidentally entering the confessional of a church where a priest is supposed to enter.

Kishibe Rohan is played by Sakurai Takahiro, who played the character in the anime “Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Is Unbreakable”.

Anime “Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan” will be broadcast on NHK General from December 18, 2021.
