The light novel “I’m Quitting Heroing: My Next Gig is at the Demon Queen’s Castle” will be animated and broadcast on TV from April 2022 as “I‘m Quitting Heroing.” The official website has disclosed a promotion video and the main cast including Kensho Ono, Kaede Hondo, Shizuka Ito, Hitomi Owada, Yumi Uchiyama, and Tetsu Inada.
The original work of “I’m Quitting Heroing” is a light novel published by Quantum via KADOKAWA BOOKS titled “I’m Quitting Heroing: My Next Gig is at the Demon Queen’s Castle.” The story is about a retired hero trying to rebuild the army of the Demon King.
Leo, a hero who saved the world from the invading Demon King’s army, has been exiled from the human world because people saw him as a threat to a peaceful society. Leo began working at Demon King’s army while hiding his true figure from the Demon King. The anime portrays how Leo tries his best to rebuild the army with the Four Devas.
The production team includes Yuu Nobuta as the general manager, Hisashi Ishii as the director, Shigeru Murakoshi as the composer, and Yuki Nakano as the character designer. Moreover, EMT Squared Co. Ltd. will be in charge of producing the animation.
Also, Kensho Ono voices the protagonist and the retired hero Leo Demonheart, along with Kaede Hondo as the responsible and caring boss Maou Ekidona, Shizuka Ito as a genius sorcerer Shutina, Hitomi Owada as a demi-beast-man Lili, Yumi Uchiyama as assassin Melnes, and Tetsu Inada as Dragon tribe soldier Edvard.
TV anime “I’m Quitting Heroing” will begin broadcasting in April 2022. Fans are excited for follow-up information.
