The largest movie, drama, and anime review service in Japan, “Filmarks”, had released the “Fall 2021 Anime Anticipation Ranking”, based on the data taken through their service. Based on the amount of “Clip!”, which is the number of users who registered the anime to their to-watch list, the 1st place is “Blue Period”, 2nd place is “Ranking of Kings”, and the 3rd place is “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mugen Train Arc”.
The 1st place “Blue Period” is a tenacity youth story about the high school boy Yaguchi Yatora devoting himself to the beautiful yet harsh art world after being amazed by a single piece of art and strives toward the national hardest Tokyo University of the Arts. This anime has recorded a total of 2,818 Clip!
The 2nd place “Ranking of Kings” has a total of 1,976 Clip! and about the adventure fantasy story of the deaf and powerless prince Bojji, who cannot even wield a sword, has a drastic change in his life as he becomes a bit braver after meeting his friend.
The 3rd place is “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mugen Train Arc” , which is the TV anime of the “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train” that was announced after the first TV broadcast on September 25, 2021. This TV anime will be broadcast on October 10, on Fuji TV and it will feature a total of 7 episodes that connect the “Success of Kamado Tanjirou Arc” to the “Entertainment District Arc”. The first episode is an original episode that features the mission that Rengoku Kyoujurou done on his way to the Mugen Train from the main headquarters of Demon Slayer Corps. Episodes 2 – 7 depict the mission on the Mugen Train with approximately 70 additional footage along with the new BGM, original teaser, and new theme song.
The 4th place with 1,157 Clip! is “Lupin the Third Part6” and the 5th place is “Platinum End” with 1,092 Clip!. The top 10 includes, “World Trigger 3rd Season”, “Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation 2nd Cour”, “takt op.Destiny”, “The Night Beyond the Tricornered Window”, and “Komi Can’t Communicate”.
