Toei Doga (now Toei Animation) is a pioneer of Japanese animation.
“Toei Doga Festival 2020, “a wonderful world of feature-length manga films” featuring masterpieces in the golden age of Toei Doga, will be held at the mini theater “Yujiku Asagaya” in Asagaya, Tokyo. It turned out to start on Mar. 25.
“Toei Doga Festival 2020, a wonderful world of feature-length manga films” will feature six movies: “Panda and the Magic Serpent (digital remastered version)”, “Magic Boy (digital remastered version)”, “Wanpaku Ouji no Orochi Taiji (digital remastered version)”, “Doggie March (digital remastered version),” “The Great Adventure of Horus, Prince of the Sun (with English subtitles)”, and “Puss in Boots (digital remastered version)”.
The screening of the “Wanpaku Ouji no Orochi Taiji”, revived more vividly in the digital remastered version, is the first in the world while the screening of digital remastered version of “Magic Boy”, “Doggie March”,and “Puss in Boots” is the first in Tokyo.
In addition, after the screening of “Wanpaku Ouji no Orochi Taiji” on Jan. 26, a talk show by the animator Kotabe Youichi is scheduled to be held in the lobby.
