The world's largest Doujin fair “Comic Market 97” is being held at Tokyo Big Sight (Koutou-ku, Tokyo) from Saturday, Dec. 28. At the Aomi Exhibition Hall, many people came to see the exhibits of the corporate booths. One of the booths was so popular that they had to stop people from getting in line and sold out the merchandise they had ready for the first day.
That booth is “Identity V”. The smartphone game released in Jul. 2018 is now also available on Windows platforms. The gothic grotesque game with many female fans is created by “NetEase Games” from Guangzhou, China.
The goods sold were; sets of a winter special fashion magazine and acrylic stands of the characters, tote bags, tapestries, clear file folders, pass cases, etc, totaling 11 types of products.
Unfortunately, they had to cut off sales in an hour for the first day. However, they made limits for sales per purchase to deal with the problem.
