2019 fall anime have all started airing, with various charming titles here and there. Among those charms are the characters that can't be missed.
A variety of characters ranging from the protagonist to the supporting roles have also appeared this season. While for the viewers, would there be any eye-catching characters that viewers would fall for at first sight?
That's why Anime!Anime! conducted a reader survey titled 「Which 2019 fall anime character did you fell in love with at first sight?」. The titles are limited to anime that began broadcast from Oct. 2019. During the survey period from Oct. 31 to Nov. 7, 66 responses were received. The male-female ratio is about 25% for men and about 75% for women, with women being the majority. The age group was about 45% for those under the age of 19, and about 40% for those in their 20s, mainly young people.
Following is the announcement of the results.
■The top goes to Alice from 『SAO』 Strong female reigns the top！
1st place is Alice from 『Sword Art Online Alicization: War of Underworld』. The support rate was about 9%. With comments from the readers like 「It's been a while since I saw strong and straightforward female character」 and 「Strict but I like her gentle side」, gaining popularity as a character with a strong will.
2nd place goes to Ishtar from 『Fate/Grand Order Absolute Demonic Front: Babylonia』. Comments for the Mesopotamian Goddess such as 「I fell head over heels during her battle scene」, with the flashy action scene from the 1st episode as the topic. Taking over one of the top spots by grabbing the hearts of fans for the first time.
3rd place consists of a line-up of characters.
Eri from 『My Hero Academia』 with comments such as 「I can't stop watching over her, with her cute yet fickle voice。I want to help her, protect her」.
Izumi Rei from 『Stand my Heroes PIECE OF TRUTH』 with comments like 「There are a lot of patterns where the main protagonist of female-targeted games would be protected, Rei-chan on the other hand, would move by her own will and express her intentions clearly which is the coolest part about her！」.

Valac Clara from 『Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun』 with comments like 「I've never liked characters that are too wild, but Clara's rampage is just so cute that I fell in love with it at first glance」.
Melida Angel from 『Assassins Pride』 with comments like 「Her determination to not give up despite not having any magic affinity is just so cool！」。
Namiki Rin from 『Kandagawa JET GIRLS』 with comments such as 「She has a strong passion for jet racing and is trying to grow together as a partner of Aoi Misa.」, voted based on her hardwork.
