Only 4 months left till the end of 2019. Seasonal Autumn anime will begin broadcast from October.
Last year『Zombieland Saga』and『SSSS.GRIDMAN』were the talk of that time, and now this year comes yet another lineup of exciting new titles to look at. So among those titles, which will be the hottest title of them all?
That's where Anime!Anime! made a survey asking viewers 「The most anticipated anime of Autumn 2019 is?」. Within the survey period August 30 till September 6, 301 responses were received. The male-female ratio is almost the same. The age group was about 30% for those aged 19 and under, and about 30% for those in their 20s.
■The No. 1 spot goes to「SAO」's newest work in line. People are also excited for the main theme！
1st place goes to『Sword Art Online Alicization: War of Underworld』. The support rate was around 13%.
This work is the latest addition to the 「SAO」series. The continuation from season 3 「Alicization」broadcast back from October 2018 till March 2019, several responses like 「I've been waiting for the new series broadcast！」were received.
Comments anticipating the story side of the series like 「I'm extremely interested in the relationship between Kirito, Asuna and Alice.」were received wanting to know more about the characters themselves, and some that focused on the main theme 「The previous Openings and Endings were fantastic, so I can't wait to see what's in store this time！」.
2nd place goes to『Chihayafuru 3』. The support rate was about 11%.
『Chihayafuru』is an original Shoujo manga by Yuki Suetsugu. A story revolving around several high school students spending their youthful days participating in karuta matches, finally a new TV anime series since the last one from 6 years ago.
The work received quite a few comments like 「I've waited forever for this！」more than the first place「SAO」. It seems that the live-action movie released between the 2nd and 3rd season was a big hit, bringing in new fans to liven the series back up!
3rd place goes to『My Hero Academia（Season 4）』. The support rate was about 7%.
Comments for the new season of the infamous hero manga currently being serialized in「Monthly Magazine Shounen Jump」such as「It's been a joy to watch ever since the first season. I'm also looking forward to the new characters that will be appearing」and「I've only read the manga but I still wanna watch it！ Looking forward to the action scenes！」were gathered. The 2nd movie『My Hero Academia THE MOVIE Heroes：Rising』was also announced for release, so don't miss out.
For men, 1st place goes to『Sword Art Online Alicization: War of Underworld』, 2nd goes to『Fate/Grand Order -Absolute Demonic Front: Babylonia-』and 3rd goes to『PSYCHO-PASS 3』
For women 1st place goes to『Chihayafuru 3』, 2nd place goes to『My Hero Academia（Season 4）』and 3rd place goes to『Sword Art Online Alicization: War of Underworld』.
Comments for『Fate/Grand Order -Absolute Demonic Front: Babylonia-』are as follow, 「The story for the original source is mostly completed so I'm really looking forward to it」and「I'm looking forward to the servants moving in the film」
Comments for『PSYCHO-PASS 3』are as follow, 「Makes me wonder will there be another new protagonist working together with another new partner facing off in a world dominated by the SIBYL system」
