Who is the Character You Fell in Love with at First Sight? 【Male Character Edition】 Who Ranked Higher than Gilgamesh from “FGO” and Todoroki Shoto from “My Hero Academia”?

2019 fall anime are now all present, and there are many interesting works with uniqueness. What you can not miss in the anime are the characters.
The are variety of characters from the main to supporting characters with unique characteristics. We think some readers are already charmed by characters in the first sight!

Here on Anime!Anime!, we conducted a survey asking, “Who is the character of 2019 fall anime whom you fell in love with at first sight?” Target titles are limited from anime started in October, 2019. We received 66 responses from Oct. 31 to Nov. 7.
Male-female ration was 1 male to 4 female, with more responses from female readers. 19 year-old or younger readers made up 45% of all responses and 20’s made up 40%; younger people are major voters of the survey.

We now announce the results of the male character ranking.

■The characters from the latest series are popular!
The characters ranked in the first place were Kirito, from “Sword Art Online: Alicization -War of Underworld” and James Moriarty from “Kabukichou Sherlock”. They received 6% of overall votes. Kirito is the main character of the”SAO”series. “War of Underworld” is the last chapter of Alicization and Kirito losing his right arm and heart were shocking but memorable as well. How will he make his revival?

James Moriarty from “Kabukicho Sherlock” is a very smart high school student. He is popular for his sweet looks; some reader said, “He is saucy, but he is smart, and handsome for a high school student”. “There seems to be something about his name so I’m really looking forward to it”, a reader said. We can not take eyes off from how the anime arrangement of the original “Sherlock Holmes ” series.

The characterstied in the 3rd place were Gilgamesh from “Fate/Grand Order: Absolute Demonic Front: Babylonia” and Todoroki Shoto from “My Hero Academia” (4th Season). Both characters are from popular series. A comment for Gilgamesh said, “I was charmed by Gilgamesh once again because he is so cool”, and a comment to Todoroki Shoto said, “He is calm but also has passion”. Many fans recognized their attractiveness in the new series.

A comment sent to Kujiin Shinobu from “Babylon” said, “The way he talks is awkward and light-hearted, but he holds great passion and justice within him. He is handsome as well”

Mikogami Tsukasa from “High School Prodigies Have It Easy Even In Another World!” “I fell for his beautiful odd-eye at first sight”

A comment sent to Joro from “Ore wo Suki nano wa Omae dake kayo” said, “his heart is in a state of confusion, but his quips are remarkable”.
A reader voted for Seki Daisuke from “Stand My Heroes Piece of Truth” commented, “I love him ever since I played the video game. I love him even more because anime illustrated his kindness and calmness.” There were several comments mentioning anime made the readers love the characters even more than before.
