From the TV anime "The World Ends with You: The Animation", the outline and scenes from Episode 2 "Shiki", broadcast on Friday, April 176, 2021, have been released in advance. "The World Ends with You: The Animation" is based on the multiple award-nominated-game, "The World Ends with You", which was created by Square Enix, well known for their "Final Fantasy" series and "Kingdom Hearts" series. The story depicts the protagonist Neku waking up in "UG" (Underground), an alternate dimension of Shibuya, and getting involved in the "Reaper's Game". Episode 2 is entitled "Shiki". Neku and Shiki, who became partners in the 7-day-long Reaper's Game, head to Spain-zaka. They see a girl who looks just like Shiki, which deeply upsets her. Neku asks why and finds out the shocking truth of what the "Reaper's Game" players have in common... “Subarashiki Kono Sekai” The 2nd PV & main visual have been revealed! The theme song will be handled by the multi-national band, ALI.
It was decided that the broadcast of the anime "Subarashiki Kono Sekai The Animation" based on Square Enix's action RPG "Subarashiki Kono Sekai" will start in April 2021. Along with that announcement, the 2nd PV & main visual have been released and it was announced that the multi-national band, ALI from Shibuya will handle the opening theme song.
"Subarashiki Kono Sekai The Animation" starts with the main protagonist, Neku waking up at Shibuya Scramble Crossing.
Actually that is the other dimension "UG" (Under Ground) that overlapps with the actual Shibuya. Neku becomes a participant in "Shinigami's Game" without understanding anything and undertakes the impossible "mission" and assaults from the monster "Noise" while searching for the hidden truth of the game and his memory.
Along with the main visual that depicts the Shinigami, the 2nd PV with the opening theme "TEENAGE CITY RIOT" by ALI has been revealed.
The 1st PV only reveals the voice of Neku/ Sakuraba Neku (voiced by Uchiyama Kouki) while the 2nd PV reveals the voice of the Shinigamis and the important characters.
"Subarashiki Kono Sekai The Animation" will start in April 2021.
