Voice actors Kaji Yuki and Kaida Yuuko are to appear in a new series of read-aloud plays from EX Theater Roppongi, "Before the World Overflows with Memories" vol. 0, to be performed at EX Theater Roppongi on Nov. 14, 2020. This reading drama "Before the World Overflows with Memories" is an original work created by TV Asahi in collaboration with the creators of the classic "A Moment to Remember". There are only two people on stage, a man and a woman, and there are no large scale devices or physical staging. The stage is filled with the excitement of live entertainment completed by the voice acting of the performers and the imagination of the audience. The main characters in the story are Nano, a woman with super-memory syndrome, who remembers everything she has experienced and cannot "forget" anything, and Solai, a physical man who tries to save her. Nano, who is in poor health and unconscious due to her excessive memory capacity, realizes that she doesn't have long to live, and uses her special ability to obtain a large sum of money. With 200 million yen, she decides to live quietly on her own, never meeting anyone or touching anything, and carries out her final plan... In the first volume, titled volume 0, Kaji Yuki, who is known for playing the role of Eren in the anime "Attack on Titan" and Todoroki Shouto in "My no Hero Academia", plays the role of Solai. Kaida Yuuko, known for her roles as Isabella in "The Promised Never Land" and Tsukuyomi in "Gin Tama", will play the role of Nano. (lol) This is a new form of human drama on the theme of memory, from the team behind the recitation play "A Moment to Remember" in which I have appeared many times. The original work and director, Okamoto Takaya, has created a quintessential work of art here! This is the kind of work I'm looking forward to seeing. I'm also looking forward to performing with my counterpart, Kaita Yuuko , who plays Nano. Role of Nano: Kaida Yuuko "Super Memory Syndrome" A few years ago, I played a woman with this special ability in an international drama. When I was asked to play her this time, I felt a connection there. However, she is a woman with a completely different life and a completely different set of problems. When I read the original story, I was a little concerned about my ability to play the role of this sensitive woman. Because of her special ability, Nano is damaged, isolated and closed off, but inside there's a very ordinary woman. A bare-bones role that I don't often get the chance to play, yes, I'm excited!
