New cast & staff members and the latest visual for the original TV anime series "Warlords of Sigrdrifa" have been announced. Nagatsuki Tappei (the original author of "Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World") is in charge of the script and the series composition, and Fujima Takuya (known for "Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha ViVid) is in charge as the character original illustrator. Yamamura Hibiku, M.A.O., and others voice the main characters, and A-1Pictures (known for the "Sword Art Online series) will be in charge of the production. In the anime's original story, the Pillars suddenly appeared above Earth, threatening all life. A god who called himself Odin came to the aid of humanity as it was driven to near complete defeat. To counter the Pillars, Odin declared a counterattack by bequeathing humanity with the battle maidens Walküres and the "herocraft" as their wings. A few years later in Japan, three Walküres confront the giant Pillar looming over sacred Mt. Fuji. Each Walküre is skilled, but each also has issues. And now, an ace pilot has arrived from Europe. The newly announced cast includes Yamamura Hibiku as Claudia Braford, Hieda Nene as Muguruma Miyako, M.A.O. as Komagome Azuzu, and Kikuchi Sayaka as Torai Sonoka. Also, A-1 Pictures (known for the "Sword Art Online" series) is in charge of the animation production, and Graphinica (known for "Girls und Panzer") is in charge of the 3DCG animation. Kikuchi Sayaka (as Torai Sonoka) It was the first role I auditioned for, and I was so happy and surprised when I got the role. My character Sonoaka is not only cute, but she also has a great sense of control in battle and is a cool figure. I will do my best to be on top of your expectations, so I hope you will look forward to seeing this film. Director: Tokuda Hirotaka I'm Tokuda Hirotaka from Suzuka, Mie Prefecture. This is my first time as a director, and I'm having a great time making this film while going against the grain and getting help from some great people. Character Designer: Yokota Takumi I was born in Chiba, so I'm happy to be able to get involved in anime from my home prefecture. There is so much maniacal attention to details in this anime, which mixes the figure of beautiful girls with military stuff, that every time I watch it, I find something new. Since I've learned a lot, I feel like I can fly an airplane now. Music: Komori Shigeo Attractive characters, interesting storyline, thrilling aerial battles, the appeal of this anime is endless. I just looked at the script and the setting material (laugh). Expectations are high, but at the same time, it's been hard due to the corona situation. I had some hard times for the music production, but I think the difficulties of the rest of the crew were even greater than you can imagine. I believe that the many struggles we had during the production will add a special charm to this work. It's probably going to be awesome! Please keep high your expectations. Music: Hyakkyoku Hajime I'm Hyakkyoku, who has agreed to collaborate with Komori-san on the music for this show! This is the second time I've co-worked on a production, but this time I had great fun working in the same office with my good friend Komori-san. The first thing we did was to make a plan on how we would divide up all the songs on the music menu we received, and how we would divide it up between the two of us. It was easily decided without any particular discussion. In this way, the music was created by two different personalities creating two different views. When we were dubbing the strings in the studio, I finished recording my own song while Komori-san just started his song. I learned a lot from this experience because our approaches were so different that doing the work separately was a good idea in terms of results. I was so excited! Furthermore, a total of five additional casts are announced and they are Hirata Hiroaki as Satomi (the commander of the Tateyama Base), Chiba Shigeru as the Maintenance Team Leader, while Nakamura Yuuichi, Sugita Tomokazu, and Mafia Kajita will voice "Ronge", "Kinpatsu", and "Gurason", the trio from the Shield Team that protects the Walküres.
