The outline & preceding cut-scenes of episode 1 "Tell my Will Devil King" of "Sorcerous Stabber Orphen: Battle of Kimluck", which was broadcast on January 20, 2021 (Wednesday), have been released. "Sorcerous Stabber Orphen" is based on the "dark fantasy" light novel that has various series announced since the first volume was released in 1994, and it has accumulate more than 14 million copies issued (inclusive of e-book). The anime adaptation was released in 1998 and 1999, but to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the series in 2020, it has gotten an anime adaptation again as "Sorcerous Stabber Orphen (2020)". "Sorcerous Stabber Orphen: Battle of Kimluck" starts with Orphen and co. heading toward Kimluck as Orphen's step-sister Azalie left a message "If you want to settle this, then come to Kimluck" The title of episode 1 is "Tell my Will Devil King". During the journey of Orphen and co. to Kimluck, they encountered some male bandits being attacked by monsters. Then, Orphen and co. were also being surround by monster, but they managed to hide in the theatres and happened to encounter the female head of the bandit, the swordswoman Madchen. With the condition of helping Orphen and co. to enter Kimluck, which is known to hate sorcerer, they had to help her with an investigation of a ruin... The new cast for "Sorcerous Stabber Orphen: Battle of Kimluck" , to be premiered in Jan. 2021, has been announced, including Shimoduma Yoshiyuki, Sugita Tomokazu, Sakamoto Maaya, and Koyasu Takehito. "Sorcerous Stabber Orphen: Battle of Kimluck" is an anime based on a dark fantasy "Sorcerous Stabber Orphen" written by Akita Yoshinobu, which had over 14 million copies in circulation. It became an anime adaptation in 2019 to commemorate its 25th anniversary, following 1998 and 1999. This will be the 2nd season. The new cast to play the members of "Death Teachers", Kimluck Church's own assault unit, who are hiding in Kimluck that stands against the sorcerers, has been announced. Shimoduma Yoshiyuki will be playing Salua, a traitor to the death teachers, Sugita Tomokazu will play Quo, the most powerful assassin, Sakamoto Maaya will play Carlotta, a sly adjutant, and Koyasu Takehito will play Name, a strategist that is active behind the scenes. Shimoduma Yoshiyuki as Salua I worried a lot about how to play Salua, who has various faces, but thanks to the help from Morikubo-san and others, I managed to do the challenge. Battle of Kimluck has a hard development, and I really like it. Please try watching it! Sugita Tomokazu as Quo When I was chosen as a cast, I felt elated and scared at the same time for some reason. I didn't know if it was because of the pressure or the message that I became a creator from the audience. When I spoke a single word as Quo, I found it out. I will put all the feelings in the play. Please enjoy it. Sakamoto Maaya as Carlotta Carlotta apparently looks elegant, but it is hard to tell what she actually is thinking about from her facial expressions, which is her attraction.
