A new wristwatch is now available in collaboration with the TV anime "Lycoris Recoil" and the long-established Japanese watch manufacturer Seiko. The watch is now available for pre-order at ANIPLEX+, the official online store of Aniplex, until May 7, 2023. “Lycoris Recoil" is the first original TV anime directed by Adachi Shingo, a character designer and chief animation director for popular works such as "Sword Art Online" and the "WORKING!" series, which was broadcast in summer 2022. The story follows the activities of "Lycoris," a free-spirited optimist named Nishikigi Chisato and a cool, efficient person named Inoue Takina, who work as agents of the secret organization "DA (Direct Attack)" to prevent crimes before they occur. A stage version was performed at the Tennozu Ginga Theatre in Tokyo in January 2023. A new animation will also be produced in the future. The "Lycoris Recoil × SEIKO Collaboration Watch," which is now available for pre-order, is an authentic chronograph born from the collaboration between this work and SEIKO. The watch is designed to be stylish and wearable in everyday life, with silver and black as its base color. The eye-catching red higanbana flower is decorated on the dial, which is designed to resemble a sight, with petals in the colors of Senzoku and Takina. The dial is boldly decorated with the "old radio tower" that soars impressively in the anime, and a gunshot hole reminiscent of gun action is applied at the 4 o'clock position, creating a sense of both precision and gravity. The back of the watch is also engraved with a serial number, making it delivered as a one-of-a-kind timepiece. The watch also comes with an exclusive cosmetic box made of chic and luxurious material that does not disturb the design of the product when it is displayed.
