Winter Anime “Arifureta: From Commonplace to World’s Strongest” Key Visual Part.2 Disclosed! Katsuyuki Konishi Joins the Team
The TV anime “Arifureta: From Commonplace to World’s Strongest” has disclosed its part 2 key visual. They have also announced that voice actors Katsuyuki Konishi and Makoto Ishii will join as cast members.
The original work of "Arifureta: From Commonplace to World’s Strongest" is an isekai fantasy novel that gained popularity on “Shosetsuka ni Narou (Become a Novelist),” a website where anyone can post a novel. It was novelized by Overlap Bunko and now has over 5 million copies in circulation.
The TV anime series started in 2019, and the 2nd season is scheduled to broadcast from January 2021.
In the announcement, the official website has disclosed the anime’s part 2 key visual. In the middle of the picture stands the protagonist Hajime and Yue, surrounded by other main characters who have been active from the 1st season. You can also find Liliana SB Heiligh, a new character expected to play a significant role in from the 2nd season, as well as a mysterious woman, Noint, depicted behind the other characters. The new visual raises fans’ expectation towards the adventure of Hajime and others who will be facing a mighty enemy in the upcoming season.
The official website has also announced the new cast of the 2nd season.
Katsuyuki Konishi will play Freid Bagwa, a supreme commander of the Demon race, and Makoto Ishii will play Mikhail, a demon who was a fiancé of Cattleya whom Hajime has defeated in the abyss of the labyrinth.
“Arifureta: From Commonplace to World’s Strongest“ will be broadcast from January 13th, 2021, on TOKYO MX and other channels.
A special program titled “Just Before the Broadcast of Arifureta: From Commonplace to World’s Strongest 2nd Season! Live Up the Anime!“ will also be broadcast on January 6th. Toshinari Fukamachi as Hajime Nagumo, Yuki Kuwahara as Yue, and Minami Takahashi as Shea Haulia will participate in the program. Check the website for more information.
