The latest episodes (episodes 7-12) of "Obsolete", a SF battle action was written by an exceptional novelist Urobuchi Gen, known for "Psycho-Pass" and "Puella Magi Madoka Magica", will be distributed on YouTube from 8:00 p.m. on Dec. 1, 2020. Ahead of that, the music video of the opening theme song 'Obsolete', co-produced by world-class artists Skrillex and Nightwatch, has been released. "Obsolete" is an original full CG animation that depicts the 'if' world where 'Exoframe', the '2.5m' tall consciousness-controlled general-use humanoid robot, is active. It was originally written and its story- edition was handled by Urobuchi Gen, who has produced numerous big hits, and animation production was handled by Buemon, a cutting-edge CG animation studio. Episodes 1-6 were released on YouTube Originals in December 2019, and gained over 30 million views. The music video of the opening theme song 'Obsolete', co-produced by world-class artists Skrillex and Nightwatch, has been released, featuring the cutscene of the newest episode.
