"Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Series EXHIBITION -Tashikana Hikari wo Sagashite- in TAMASHII NATIONS STORE TOKYO," an event celebrating the release of "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM," is being held at TAMASHII NATIONS STORE TOKYO in Akihabara, Tokyo. They are selling merchandise featuring limited newly drawn illustrations and have photo spots where you can take pictures with the characters.
The "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED" series is set in the Cosmic Era (C.E.), a time when two types of humans exist: Coordinators, who are born genetically enhanced with superior physical abilities and intellect, and Naturals, who are born naturally. The series depicts the conflict between these two types of humans.
It began with the TV anime "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED" (2002 - 2003), which covers events starting from C.E.71, followed by "Mobile Suit Gundam Destiny" (2004 - 2005), which continues the story from C.E.73. From there, the series expanded its universe in various media. "Mobile Suit Gundam FREEDOM" is a sequel that depicts a brand new story set in C.E.75. The film is scheduled to be released on January 26, 2024.
The ongoing "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Series EXHIBITION -Tashikana Hikari wo Sagashite- in TAMASHII NATIONS STORE TOKYO" sells completed figures such as METAL ROBOT SPIRITS, ROBOT SPIRITS, METAL BUILD, and Figuarts mini, along with merchandise featuring newly drawn illustrations from the "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED" series.

A diorama that reproduces the cityscape of the space colony "Heliopolis" from the "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED" series has been announced. Pre-orders are currently being accepted at "Premium Bandai". The "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED" series had been broadcast on TV from October 2002 to September 2003, and is said to be the "First" Gundam of the 21st century. The story is set in C.E. (Cosmic Era) 71, the story reveals suffering and growth of the Coordinator Yamato Kira and childhood friend Athrun Zala through the war between genetically modified humans (Coordinators) and conventional humans (Natural), who have been divided into the military organization ZAFT and the Earth Allied Forces and fight. Fukuda Mitsuo was the director, and Hirai Hisashi was in charge of characters' design. In addition to conventional Gundam fans, it has gained wide support from teens and female fans, becoming a big hit.
