TOHO animation begins its 10-year anniversary project! Production company of ‘Jujutsu Kaisen’, ‘My Hero Academia’ and ‘Haikyu!!’ ’
The animation label ‘TOHO animation’ announced a new project to commemorate its 10th anniversary. ‘TOHO animation’ was established in 2012 by TOHO CO., LTD. They started anime production with the TV anime ‘Majestic Prince’, which started broadcasting in April 2013. So far, the company has produced numerous works including ‘Haikyu!!’, ‘Yowamushi Pedal’, ‘My Hero Academia’, ‘Touken Ranbu-Hanamaru’, ‘PSYCHO-PASS’, and more. Their recent works include the ‘Jujutsu Kaisen’ series, in which the latest movie with box-office revenue of more than 12 billion JPY, and original movies such as ‘Your Name.’ and ‘HELLO WORLD’. The official YouTube channel ‘TOHO animation Channel’ has reached 1.8 million subscribers, and ‘SPY×FAMILY’, which has already become a hot topic, will start broadcasting in April. “We will continue to strive to meet the fans expectations”, their comment stated. The announcement also revealed that the company plans to start various new activities for the 10th year starting from March 10, 2022, to the end of March 2023. The first big event to come will be ‘AnimeJapan2022 (also known as AJ)’ on March 26th and 27th. The company has been participating in the event since the first time in 2014.
