Kenji Kamiyama, an animation director and scriptwriter known for ‘Ghost in the Shell: S.A.C’ and ‘Eden of the East’ series, produces a new anime feature. The title and a teaser visual were announced. The broadcast is scheduled for January 2021. Kamiyama’s new work, directed and script written by himself, will be broadcast as a WOWOW original anime feature to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the service. The title was announced to be ‘Eternal 831’. With the tagline “Who restarted time when it stopped?", the teaser visual released this time shows a male and a female characters looking up to the sky. "Eternal 831" is the new long feature film to commemorate the 30th establishment anniversary of WOWOW with Kamiya as the director & script writer. The story take place in the modern era that is filled with turmoil due to the "unprecedented great disaster". The young boy Asano Suzushiro, who possessed the unexpected "power" to stop the time of his surrounding, encounters the young girl Hashimoto Nazuna, who has the same power. After figuring out that she was being used to commit crime, Suzushiro decided to help her... The main character visual has been released. Asano Suzushiro is a university student in the metropolitan city, who obtained the uncontrollable "time stopping power" from a certain circumstances. Hashimoto Nazuna is a female high school girl, who was forced to lend her power to her only relative, her older step brother, as she is unable to stop his crimes. The main cast information about "Eien no 831", the latest feature anime film by director Kamiyama Kenji of "Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex" and "Eden of the East", has been revealed. Asano Suzushirou will be played by Saitou Souma, Hashimoto Nazuna by M.A.O, and Agawa Seri by Okitsu Kazuyuki. "Eien no 831" is a new feature anime film directed and scripted by Kamiyama Kenji, produced as a commemoration of the 30th anniversary of WOWOW. Set in the modern age in turmoil due to an "unprecedented disaster", Asano Suzushirou, a young man who unwillingly has the "ability" to stop the time of those around him, meets a girl with the same "ability", Hashimoto Nazuna. When he learns that she is being used for crime, Suzushirou impulsively lends a helping hand and... The voice actors for the three main characters have been announced. Asano Suzushirou, the protagonist who has been deeply traumatized by an incident caused by his own "actions" and has gained the ability to stop time, is played by Saitou Souma from "Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway's Flash" and "Moriarty the Patriot".
