Mitsuko: Ohara Sayaka
●This is an original theatrical animation. Please tell us your impressions of the script and V-Content.
What a straightforward, sparkling story filled with the brilliance of youth. I remember that after I read the script for the first time, I had a lingering feeling for a while. I also felt as if I was being questioned by my own heart about what "happiness" meant to me and what I could do if I seriously wanted to make someone else happy.
●Please tell us about the character you played and your impressions of the recording.
Mitsuko is a mother who raises the main character, Satomi, by herself. She is also a skilled researcher who works in the laboratory of a large company. It was a shame that we couldn't all record together this time because it was a different situation than usual, but we were able to post-record with the three of us from the adult team, Hama-ken and Tsuda-ken. It was very easy to imagine her as a career woman (laughs).
On her personal side, her mischievous expressions that she suddenly show themselves and her close relationship with her daughter made me feel warm and close to her, and I really enjoyed playing her.

This film depicts the growth of Satomi and her friends, with Shion at the center, sometimes dazzling, sometimes sad, but always straightforward. Their earnest attempts to find answers while facing big obstacles will surely evoke something important in the hearts of many people. ......! Please look forward to the vividly colored world that fills the screen and the heart-stirring songs♪

There are many things that cannot be conveyed even if you are thinking about them.
Even so, people take action for someone else, thinking of someone else.
I was dazzled by the power of Shion to connect them.
●Please tell us about the role of the character you played and your impressions of the recording.
Nomiyama-san is an old man who makes me my feel a "tightening sensation.” Mainly in the stomach area.
It is inevitable that where there is light, there will be shadows.
It's difficult to walk toward the same place, isn't it?

I think this film will make you feel the happiness of taking a new look at the casual things that are right next to you, and your usual relationships.
I can't tell you everything, so I'll be waiting for you at the theater.

It's a work filled with a lot of feelings.
The emotions of the characters are so carefully woven into the story that my heart was moving even when I was reading the script.
Each character moves and creates a big wave in the story. The waves eventually become songs and begin to resonate in the hearts of the audience.
I like the script, which is colored by purity. I'm looking forward to seeing the finished video.
●Please tell us about the role of the character you played and your impressions of the recording.
I'm a disgusting adult (laughs). He is an adult character who is bound by the rules of society and adults and has lost sight of what is important.
I was directed to have an open mind, but with a clear image.
●Please give a message to your fans who are looking forward to the release.
Please come to the theater and see this film, which has been carefully and meticulously spun.
I'm sure you will want to sing after watching it.
Youthfulness is good.
Shion: Tsuchiya Tao
Shion has a "brain" called AI. But that brain is made of machines, so people tend to think that the AI's reactions and "heart" are separate. But ...... is there really no mind in a machine?
This is a question that I have felt since I was a child, so I used it as a starting point to play the role of Shion's mind. The sadness that "you can be close to a human, but you can never be a human" and "the closer you are to a human, the more you are feared". When you get down to it, I feel that this story depicts "friendship between people in different positions" through "friendship between AI and humans".
I think that in the future, many things will evolve, the real world will become smaller, and many virtual worlds will be created, but at the same time, something may be distorted, damaged, or lost in the rapid changes. "Sing a Bit of Harmony" is a story that foreshadows the future, but it also depicts the universal theme of "what is love?” and I think it has a persuasive power that transcends time and culture. I hope everyone, old and young, East and West, male and female, will see it! And I hope that you will join me in wishing for the moment when Shion's dream will come true.
Satomi = Fukuhara Haruka
"Sing a Bit of Harmony" is a story about how Satomi and the people around her change rapidly through the pure life of Shion.
Works dealing with AI are often portrayed as a world far away from our daily lives, but this work is an everyday story that is connected to reality, so I think I was able to enter the world of the work without feeling uncomfortable.
In addition, although Shion is an AI, it seems to me that it has the same life as a human being. Even if it is an artificial intelligence, if it has human-like emotions, you could say there is life in it as well, couldn’t you? They say that houseplants grow better when you talk to them (laughs). It gave me a chance to think about something a little more grandiose, like how I would like to be kind to all things.
Touma: Kudo Asuka
Shion is a character who builds relationships with people while learning about society in her AI way. She was born to make people happy, but when you think about it, making someone happy is a simple yet very difficult thing to do. I myself still don't know how to make people happy. It would be fun to have Shion by my side as I try to solve this problem, and I wouldn't be surprised if an AI like Shion is born one day.
At first, I didn't realize the trick of the title "Sing a Bit of Harmony (Ai no Utagoe wo Kikasete)". I was wondering, "Is there a character named Ai in the story?” The moment I realized that "Ai should be AI" and solved the mystery, I was unconsciously moved (laughs).
