Let’s celebrate Enoki Junya’s birthday! What is your favorite character played by him? In 2020 ver. Maita Rui from “Idolmaster SideM” is on the tops for two year in a row?

Oct. 19 is Enoki Junya’s birthday.

In the fall 2020’s anime, he played main characters in many titles, including “Jujutsu Kaisen” and “Fly Me to the Moon”. His appearances in anime “Cells at Work! CODE BLACK” and “Heaven’s Design Tem”, which will be broadcast in 2021, have also been decided.
He also dubbed Peter Parker from “Spider-Man: Homecoming”, etc., and he is also active at the stage play, radio, and singing character’s songs.

To celebrate Enoki Junya’s birthday, like last year, we conducted a reader survey “Who is your favorite character played by Enoki Junya?” We received responses from 127 people during the survey period from Oct. 6. to Oct. 13.
The male-female ratio is about 20% for males and about 80% for females. About 40% of the age group were minors, and about 40% were in their 20s.

1st place went to Maita Rui from “The Idolmaster SideM”. The approval rating was about 17%, and he was place on the same ranking as last year.

Readers commented, “He is always bright, positive, and energetic. Enoki-sans’ performance at the live was also wonderful which hype up the venue”, and “Although he is an energetic character, he also has calm and kind sides. I think it was expressed well thanks to Enoki-sans delicate acting.”
Another reason for his popularity is that he is a former English teacher who becomes an idol, “He speaks English but I think that it is not going beyond and played naturally, which makes the character more attractive.”

2nd place
2nd place goes to Itadori Yuji from “Jujutsu Kaisen”. The approval rating is about 14%. The title of the 2020 broadcast was ranked high.

Many fans liked the main protagonist, “Full body-sized high school student is cute! Itadori-kun, who confronts the harsh fate with his sharp acting that feels natural and powerful, is played vividly.”, and “Enoki-san’s voice and acting convey the gentleness of his physical ability and strong core, but he is not pretentious.”
Some readers are looking forward to future development, “It’s just started, but after watching the first episode, I am sure that ‘this will be the represensative work for Enoki-san’.”

3rd place
3rd place goes to Horikawa Kunihiro from the “Touken Ranbu: ONLINE” series. The approval rating is about 12%, ranked up from 4th place last year.
His pleasant personality is popular, “I think serious, polite, and caring character fits well to Enoki-sans voice.”
Also, fans of various media vote for it, “Swaying emotions and conflicts of ‘Katsugeki/Touken Ranbu’ makes me cry.”, and “The line, ‘I’m Ken-san’s friends and assistant!’, is very cute.”
