The teaser visual of spring 2023 and season 3 of the TV anime “Dr.STONE New World” has been released.
“Dr.STONE” is based on the manga by Inagaki Riichiro and Boichi that was serialized on “Weekly Shonen Jump”. It depicts the “craft adventure” of the modern high school student, Ishigami Senku making use of science in the stone world with the destroyed civilization.
It is a popular work that has taken the 2nd place in the comic category of “Tsugi ni Kuru Manga Taisho 2018” and the grand prize winner of the shonen category of “Shogakukan Manga Award”.
For the anime, the first season started broadcasting in July 2019 while the second season started broadcasting in January 2021. The TV special “Dr.STONE Ryusui” was broadcast in July 2022 and it is an original episode that serves as the sequel for the second season, “Stone Wars”.
The third season is titled “Dr.STONE New World” and is slated to be broadcast in spring 2023.
For the teaser visual, it vastly depicts the impressive sea with the bright dawn. Also, the appearance of the residence of the Kingdom of Science, such as Senku, can be seen on the ship’s bow as they looked toward an island.
This visual is befitting to the title of the third season, “New World” as you can feel the anticipation toward and the splendidness of the new world.
Along with the usual members, Senku, Ryusui, Chrome, Kohaku, and Gen, a new character can be seen beside Ryusui. Do look forward to the future news to see what kind of character this is.
With over 1.5 million copies in circulation for the original manga, the TV anime “Dr.STONE” is heating up the audience toward the broadcast. Broadcast of season 3 “Dr.STONE New World” is slated for spring 2023.
