It was announced that broadcast date of the third season of TV anime “Dr.STONE”, “Dr.STONE: New World” is in spring 2023. It was announced after the broadcast of the TV special “Dr.STONE: Ryusui”, and the non-credit OP of “Dr.STONE: Ryusui” was released together with the PV of season 3.

“Dr.STONE” is based on the manga written by Inagaki Riichiro, and drawn by Boichi that was serialized on “Weekly Shonen Jump”. It is a “craft adventure” about the modern high school student, Ishigami Senku using science in the stone age, where the modern culture has been destroyed.
This popular manga has taken the 2nd place in the manga category of “Tsugi ni Kuru Manga Taisho 2018” and won the Shonen’s manga category of “Shogakukan Manga Award”.

For the anime, the first season of the TV series was broadcast in July 2019 and second season was broadcast in January 2021. The TV special “Dr.STONE: Ryusui” depicts the story from the manga that continues from the story of second season “Stone Wars”.

The latest information on the third season was announced after the broadcast of the TV special “Dr.STONE: Ryusui” (Broadcast on July 10, 7:00 PM). The title is “Dr.STONE: New World” and the broadcast will start in spring 2023.

The PV is comprisesd of the footages of Mother’s Nature, such as the sea, mountains, and the sky above the cloud, as it gives premonition toward the new adventure of Senku and other member of the Science Kingdom, which is the “New World”.

The non-credit opening of the TV special “Dr.STONE: Ryusui” featuring the song “Good Morning ‘New’ World!” by BURNOUT SYNDROMES has also been released.

BURNOUT SYNDROMES has handled the opening of the first cour of the first season, “Good Morning World!”. Prior to the broadcast of the TV special, they were put under the spotlight for the song, but the rearrangement of the same song in Ryusui style has made a great start and has surprised many.
