The TV anime “Detective Conan” goes to Osaka Castle! The “Detective Conan Osaka Castle Honjin SPECIAL SHOP” with exclusive goods and takeout food will be open for a limited time.

The mystery manga “Detective Conan,” serialized in Weekly Shonen Sunday by Aoyama Gosho since 1994, depicts a high school detective, Kudo Shinichi, who is transformed into a child by a mysterious black-clad organization and takes on complex cases as Edogawa Conan. Vol.102 was published in September 2022.

The TV anime started in January 1996 and reached its 1,000th episode in March 2021, followed by the theatrical version “Detective Conan: The Bride of Halloween” in April 2022, with Conan and Furuya Rei as the main characters. The “DETECTIVE CONAN THE MOVIE Exhibition: Memoirs of the Silver Screen,” a special exhibition of the “Detective Conan” film series touring throughout Japan, is currently being held at the Hiroshima venue (Hiroshima Marina Hop) from January 21, 2023.

Conan, Amuro Toru, and Haibara Ai will appear at Osaka Castle, adjacent to Yomiuri TV, which produces the “Detective Conan” anime. The “Detective Conan Osaka Castle Honjin SPECIAL SHOP” will be held from March 3 to August 31, 2023, at the Osaka Castle Honjin on the first floor of MIRAIZA Osaka Castle. The event will also include a booth for commemorative photo shoots.

Exclusive artwork for this event has also been prepared. The “Retro Department Store Theme,” featuring a nostalgic department store, and the “Sengoku Theme,” featuring warlords associated with Osaka Castle, will be available as limited edition goods, each with chibi characters.

In addition to the popular ” Acrylic Key Chain,” there are also items for daily use such as “A4 Clear File Folder,” “Noren” (Japanese fabric divider) and “Microfiber Mini Towel,” as well as “Drops (Strawberry & Milk Flavor)” and “Printed Cookie Set,” which are perfect for souvenirs.

At the food corner, “Adult’s? Children’s Lunch Coppe Sandwich” and “Gochiso! Neapolitan Coppe Sandwich,” “Osaka Mixed Juice Soft Serve,” which is a soft serve made from Osaka’s famous mixed juice, and “Fascinating Pudding Soft Serve” inspired by old-fashioned pudding.

There will also be souvenir goods such as the “Acrylic Stand Coaster” and “Acrylic Muddler Spoon”. A novelty coaster will also be distributed when purchasing a food and souvenir set. Also, a Senja-fuda (a type of Japanese nameplate) sticker will be given away for every 2,000 JPY spent at the merchandise and food sections.
