The movie “My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!” will be released in 2023. A key visual has also been released.
The film is based on a fantasy novel about the protagonist, Catarina, who is reincarnated as a villainess in an Otome game she played in her previous life and struggles to avoid the doomed end.
The TV anime started airing in 2020, and production of the movie was announced after the final episode of the second TV anime season in 2021.
On April 2 and 3, “TV anime ‘My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!…X’ special event, Spring Catarina Festival – Catarina Lovers Girls Party & Catarina Lovers Boys Party” was held at Zepp Haneda.
At the event, it was announced that the movie will be released in 2023. A “Production is going well” key visual depicting Catarina holding a megaphone like a movie director was also unveiled.
On April 2, the day before the event, the details of the first stage production, “’My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!’ THE STAGE” (abbreviated as “HameSte”), were also announced. This is scheduled for a total of 10 performances from June 30 to July 5.
