The TV anime “Rust-Eater Bisco” will start broadcasting in January 2022. Along with the announcement, the main visual, 1st main PV, character visuals, and additional cast members, including Tsuda Kenjiro, have been unveiled.

“Rust-Eater Bisco” is based on the novel written by Cobkubo Shinji and illustrated by Akagishi K, with the world-view illustrated by mocha. It is currently published from “Dengeki Bunko” and has won 1st place at the both overall and new bunkobon divisions of “Kono Light Novel ga Sugoi! 2019” for the first time in history.

Set in Japan, where “Rusty Wind” that gets everything rusty is blowing around.
Akaboshi Bisco, a boy that belongs to the abhorred tribe “Kinokogari”, embarks on a journey to obtain a miraculous medicinal mushroom “Rust Eater”, which is said to remove all the rust, to save his dying teacher. The story depicts him, encountering Nekoyanagi Milo, a beautiful young male doctor who searches for a method to remove the rust that affects his sister, and embarking on a new adventure hand in hand.

Along with the main visual, 1st main PV, and character visuals, additional 2 cast members have been announced to be Saito Shiro as Jabi and Tsuda Kenjiro as Kurokawa.

“Rust-Eater Bisco” will be on air from January 2022.
