[Recommended points] It is a fall! However, if you haven't had enough horror this summer, you should watch it ♪ You can enjoy cute high school girls, including the main character Miko, her best friend Hana, who "attracts" monsters, Yulia who aims to become a strong psychic, and many "creatures" drawn with a passion will also appear. Enjoy the novelty of "cute" and "scary" attacking you in turns. However, looking at Miko who is scared, the reader seems to be able to keep calm a little...? Also, don't miss soft sex appeal elements. (C) Tomoki Izumi / KADOKAWA / Mieruko-chan Production Committee ■ Komi Can’t Communicate "Komi Can’t Communicate" is based on the same-name manga by Oda Tomohito serialized in "Weekly Shonen Sunday". It is the story about him living passionately his youth life. [Recommended points] Yatora, a high school student who has entered the world of "art", struggles to grow up facing the painting. Even if you don't have any knowledge about art or art schools, it still will be interesting because you can learn from the same perspective as Yatora. At first glance, when you hear about "art club," you may think that it is something simple, but when you get to know this world, you will be drawn into its gorgeousness, expressiveness, and depth. In manga, you will see works on which many various characters have been working. Expectations for what colors will be used in anime are high. In the anime adaptation, Fukuyama Jun will play the role of Dralc and Furukawa Makoto will play the role of Ronaldo. [Recommended points] As the title suggests, the vampire Dralc dies immediately due to various triggers. Every time you advance one frame, the gags and responses continue to fold up, which will give you a greater feeling of satisfaction. With voice actors in anime, you may be able to enjoy it at a tempo that is a bit different from the manga. In addition, unique characters such as Ronaldo's fellow hunters, the members of the Kanagawa Prefectural Police Vampire Countermeasures Division, and the people of Shin-Yokohama will make the chaos even more exciting. September 17 is Matsuoka Yoshitsugu-san's birthday. He debuted as a voice actor in 2009. He won the Best Rookie Actors in the 6th Seiyu Awards, and the Best Actor in a Leading Role in the 10th. In 2021, he is playing main characters in various works such as "Osamake: Romcom Where The Childhood Friend Won't Lose", "Sailor Moon Eternal: The Movie", and "Sword Art Online Progressive: Aria of a Starless Night". To celebrate his birthday, we conducted an annual readers' survey, "Who is your favorite character played by Matsuoka Yoshitsugu-san?". There were 403 votes during the survey period from August 30 to September 6. For the gender ratio, the females were the majority with about 70% while the males were about 30%. For the age distribution, we received the majority of responses from readers of young ages: about 45% were teens, and about 25% were in their 20s. ■"SAO" Kirito topped the list. Pay attention to him in the latest title! 1st Place 1st place went to Kirito from "Sword Art Online". The support rating was about 26%, and the character is topping the list again as last year. As Matsuoka-san has been playing this role for years, this character has won many votes. The received comments include, "He is the protagonist of 'SAO' series. Matsuoka-san faithfully plays Kirito growing up, which left me impressions", "Kirito's growth from 1st season, where he was still a little boy, to the latest work, overlaps with Matsuoka-san's life as a voice actor. I am heartily grateful that Matsuoka-san cuddles up to Kirito with all his soul, and brings him into life", and "He was almost speechless in 'War of Underworld', however, Matsuoka-san's performance still impressed me." In "Sword Art Online Progressive: Aria of a Starless Night", which will be premiered on October 30, Matsuoka-san will play the role of 14-year-old Kirito again. The readers said that "To see the PV, I felt Kirito in the 1st series from 10 years ago", showing their expectations. 2nd Place 2nd place went to Hashibira Inosuke from "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba". The support rating was about 12%, and he moved up from 3rd place of last year. The readers consider him having various charms, saying "As his line 'Headlong rush', he is absolutely straightforward, honest, and wild. Although he used to be brutal and behave in an aggressive manner, he has been changing through encounters with people's kindness, and the story depicts his failures in terms of both skills and mental. Matsuoka-san's performance made such scenes more realistic", "His roars when he shows his skills are so robust and tremendous that make us viewers worry about Matsuoka-san's throat", and "He is typically being stubborn, but he sometimes becomes 'giddier' while being with his friends. That's so cute". 3rd Place 3rd place went to Petelgeuse Romanee-Conti from "Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World". The support rating was about 8%, and he remained in the top 3 though he slipped down from 2nd place of last year. Many readers got overwhelmed by his performance that we can possibly describe as being mad, and the received comments include, "Matsuoka-san perfectly pulled off such a crazy character, and when I first heard the performance, I was almost terrified", "Only Matsuoka-san would be able to play the character full of madness. The difference of Petelgeuse in the past was also surprising", and "Matsuoka-san perfectly played the messed-up and mad character. I realized how talented Matsuoka-san is again". ■Let's introduce other comments!! Twilight the Demon King "Sleepy Princess in the Demon Castle" "He is cute in that he is swayed by the Princess despite being the King. Matsuoka-san's voice perfectly matches him, who owns overwhelming power but actually has been living a difficult life." Helios "Sailor Moon Eternal: The Movie" "I was impressed by Matsuoka-san faithfully recreating the delicacy of Helios, who is fairly gentle, with his ephemeral and smooth voice just like glass. He was exactly the prince we're dreaming of." Mitsuya Takashi "Tokyo Revengers" "Matsuoka-san excellently expresses the character's gap that he is just like a mom since he is the leader of the handicraft club at school, and takes care of his younger sisters at home at home." September 13 is Kayano Ai-san's birthday. She debuted as a voice actor in 2010 and won the Best Rookie Actor Award in the 6th Seiyu Awards. In 2021, she is in various titles including, "Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation", "Girls und Panzer das Finale" Episode 3, and the "ARIA" series. She also released a memorial book & mini-album "Musunde Hiraite" in March to commemorate the 10th anniversary of her debut as a voice actor. To celebrate her birthday, we conducted the same readers' survey as last year asking, "Who's Your Favorite Character Voiced by Kayano Ai-san?" There were 312 votes during the survey period from August 30 to September 6. Most of the voters were male with a gender ratio of 70% male to 30% female, and the age range was on the younger side with 35% under 20 and 35% in their 20s. ■"SAO" Alice tops the list! Characters below 2nd place changed their rankings! 1st Place Alice from "Sword Art Online Alicization" topped the list with 14% of the votes, keeping her at the top for 3 years in a row. Fans supported her for being a fighting heroine with comments like, "Throughout the series, she portrayed every element of Alice, her strength, kindness, and cuteness," and "I had the impression that Kayano-san plays cute characters, but when she played the dignified and powerful Alice, she became a character I admire." The fact that she was in a long-running series, 4 seasons in total including "War of Underworld", is another reason why she left a strong impression on her fans. 2nd Place 2nd place went to Menma from "Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day" with roughly 11% of the votes, moving her up from 5th place last year. Menma is a childhood friend who suddenly appears in front of Jintan, a high school student who isolates himself from society. The girl with a secret received comments such as, "I love Menma's unique squishy smile, and she has the most wonderful voice I've ever heard in an anime!", and "How she portrays Menma's true feelings that gradually get revealed towards the last episode and how she expresses her emotions is so amazing." By the way, 2021 is the 10th anniversary year of the broadcast. There were also many comments celebrating the shows 10th anniversary, "I'm happy I got to see Menma after all these years in the special program, radio, and the reading at the event to celebrate the 10th anniversary!" and "As I re-watched the anime from the beginning for the 10th anniversary, I realized once again that this show will never fade away." 3rd Place Kasumigaoka Utaha took 3rd place with roughly 9% of the votes, moving down from 2nd place last year. "The best sadistic, dark-haired heroine! And yet, she's also cute when she's being a chicken," "Her yandere voice and fragile kindness are wonderful. Kayano-san is the only one who can play Utaha senpai," and "I love her dark long hair and big sister character. I'm hoping that "Koisuru Metronome", which follows Utaha senpai as the protagonist, receives an anime adaptation!" are comments that show how the gap between her sharp tongue and her vulnerable side she occasionally shows melted the hearts of so many fans. ■Here are some comments for other characters! For Darkness from "KonoSuba: God's Blessing on this Wonderful World!", "A delusional female warrior is completely different from the characters she played in the past, but she pulled it off, showing her wide range of acting and talent."
