Among them, the video of the characters dancing is well-known among the fans. If you are an anime fan, many works may come to your mind.

Here at Anime!Anime!, we conducted a reader survey entitled “Dancing characters! Speaking about dances in OPs and EDs, which title comes to your mind?” We received responses from 360 people during the survey period from July 19 to July 26.
The male-female ratio is about 25% for males and about 75% for females. About 60% of the age group were teens, and about 25% were in their 20s.

■ “The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya” with boom fire is topping the list!

1st place

1st place goes to “The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya” with an approval rating of about 16%.

The ED theme of this work, in which members of the SOS team perform a dance on the theme song “Hare Hare Yukai”, became a hot topic. Readers commented on an appealing performance that will never fade, “The dynamic feeling of the dance was wonderful, and I was watching ED more enthusiastically than the main story.”, and “A legendary dance ED anime that is still impressive. Even recently, watching an upload a video of the voice actors dancing, and I felt the greatness of the work “Suzumiya Haruhi’.”

The choreography was also commented, “It’s a choreography that makes you want to dance! I struggled to copy it at that time…”, and “dancing isn’t that difficult, so it gets into your body when you watch it many times.” Some fans said they were actually dancing.

2nd place

2nd place goes to “Detective Conan” with an approval rating of about 13%.
Among the readers of Anime!Anime!, the para-para of the OP theme “Koi wa Thrill, Shock, Suspense” attracted the most attention. There were many surprised comments, “The legendary para para dance of Conan among the fans! The song and dance were cool, and I used to imitate them when I was a child.”, and “I was surprised at the slightly surrealistic animation of Conan dancing to para para, which was a trend in 2000. It’s a long-term series, so it’s interesting because it represents each era.”

“Conan” is performing his dance once again in the 2020 OP theme “Red lip”, and it seems that many fans fall for that precious dance scene, “It’s too nice that Conan dances brilliantly though he doesn’t usually dance!”

3rd place

3rd place goes to “Jujutsu Kaisen” with an approval rating of about 9%.

Readers commented on the dance of the 1st cour’s ED theme “LOST IN PARADISE feat. AKLO”, “The point is that the dancing style is different depending on the character. In particular, Gojou-sensei’s groovy dance was the best!”, “It is drawn with a different style of touch from the main story, and it is also impressive that the characters’ everyday vibes come out.”, and “I really like the unusual performance of dancing to the pop and bright song with the video sequence of everyday scenes, which did not appear in a “Jujutsu Kaisen”‘s dark world view.”
Vibes are different from the main story, and it is done as an ED animation with a refreshing charm.
