“Gundam Reconguista in G Ⅲ-The Legacy of Space” (first-run on July 22nd, 2021) has announced the visitor novelty items at theaters. Visitors will receive ‘File Folder with Illustration by Ippei Gyobu’ for the first week, and ‘Special Postcard Set Berly and Aida’ for the second week.
“Reconguista in G” is an anime series in which Yoshiyuki Tomino, the original writer of “Mobile Suit Gundam” serves as the director and the scriptwriter. This series takes place in “Regild Century (=R.C.)”, which is also known as the Post-Universal Century.
After 5 years since the television broadcast, the team revised the anime to make a theatrical version. After the first film “Gundam Reconguista in G I – Go! Core Fighter” released in November 2019 and the second “Gundam Reconguista in G Ⅱ – Berly Gekishin” in February 2020, the third “Gundam Reconguista in G Ⅲ-The Legacy of Space” will have the first run shortly.
Having its first run in 10 days, the staff announced novelty items for visitors. Visitors will receive ‘File Folder with Illustration by Ippei Gyobu’ for the first week, and ‘Postcard Set Berly and Aida’ for the second week at the theater.
The illustration on the file folder is by the mechanical designer Ippei Gyobu. It is a legendary illustration that was originally drawn as a commercial bumper for the TV anime series. As it was drawn before the current “Reconguista in G” logo was created, it has a rare title design that can be seen nowhere else.
“Gundam Reconguista in G Ⅲ-The Legacy of Space” will be released on July 22nd, 2021. At MOVIX group theaters (there will be some exceptional theaters), visitors can get an original design cup by showing the ticket when ordering a set meal at the food stand.
