TV Anime “RE-MAIN” released the synopsis and a promo video of the first episode right before its broadcast on July 3 (Sat).
“RE-MAIN” is an original water polo anime produced by MAPPA, with Nishida Masafumi (known for “TIGER & BUNNY”) wearing the hats of original creator, chief director, series composition, scripting for all episodes, and sound director.
The protagonist Shimizu Minato had given up on water polo due to an incident during winter in his third-year of middle school. Now in high school, a single promise leads Minato to pick the sport back up with new comrades. However, little does he know about the many challenges that lie ahead with his new team….
The 1st episode is titled “Sorry, Who Are You?”
Shimizu Minato wakes up from a long coma caused by a traffic accident. Once a water polo prodigy in middle school, due to the accident, Minato now has forgotten all the memories of his glory days.
After giving up on the sport, a year later Minato enrolls in Yamaminami High School….
“RE-MAIN” 1st episode “”Sorry, Who Are You?” broadcasted on July 3 at TV Asahi’s 24 network channels throughout Japan on the ” program block “NUMAnimation”.
