July 1 is Inada Tetsu’s birthday.

Inada Testsu made his debut in 1990’s. His field was not limited to anime; he was active actor in game and tokusatsu as well.
He played Bullet in “Redo of Healer”, Hassan of the Cursed Arm in “Fate/Grand Order THE MOVIE Divine Realm of the Round Table: Paladin; Agateram”, and Endeavor in “My Hero Academia” in 2021.

Here at Anime!Anime!, we conducted the survey titled, “who is your favorite character played by Inada Tetsu?” to celebrate Inada Tetsu’s birthday.
The survey was conducted from June 14 to 21 and a total of 143 readers answered the survey. The male-female ratio was about the same. The minors made up approximately 20%, 20’s made up approximately 30%, and 30’s made up approximately 30%.

1st Place
The 1st place was Doggie Cruger from “Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger”. The support rating was approximately 30%.

Doggie Cruger is the leader of Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger. The comments from the readers said, “He is sometimes strict, but sometimes kind to the members, and he is an idealistic respectable boss”, “His words and behaviors are so handsome, although his appearance is a dog itself. I cannot forget how he ruled the battle when he changed into Deka Master”, and “I like his unique line, ‘I am the Guardian Dog of the Hell to slash all villains!’.” His strength at the time as Deka Master seemed to be most appealing to the fans.

2nd PlaceThe 2nd place was Endeavor from “My Hero Academia”. The support rating was approximately 20%.

Endeavor first appeared as the 2nd best hero, following All Might. He is the real father of Todoroki Shouto. “I first thought he was just scary, but I became to like him after learning about his pride as a hero and the change of his mind toward relationship with his family” and “I was glad to see the Todoroki families began to learn about each other step by step”, the comments said. He seemed to be supported for being favored by characters as the story develops.
Some comments mentioned him in the 5th season, that “He was cute when he was shocked for finding that his son read his message, but did not reply.”

3rd Place
The 3rd place was Gamagoori Ira from “Kill La Kill”. The support rating was approximately 8%.

Gamagoori Ira is the Student Council’s Elite Four and the leader of the disciplinary committee at Honnouji Academy. “His line, ‘I will wipe off my own tears’, encourages me when I am in the difficult situation. I will always follow you, the disciplinary leader…”. “I think it is rare to see Inada-san to play the high school student…well he is in 20’s, because he took another year to enter the school”, and some comments mentioned his impressive appearance unlike the high school student.

Harry Ord from “Mobile Suit Turn A Gundam”: “Refreshing scream of ‘Universe!’ and unique design of the outfits were memorable.”
A Ruffian from “KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on this Wonderful World!”: “Although he is not an important character, he had the good personality unlike his scary appearance, and I like how he tries to say cool lines.”

Mr. Takasaki from “Nichijou”: “Mr. Takasaki, who is in love with Ms. Sakurai, hides his true feeling and Inada-san’s acting matched nicely.”
MAO from “Kemono Michi: Rise Up”: “He encourages me because he works so hard to defeat the protagonist. Inada-san, who likes wrestling lover, made him a charming character.”

This survey gathered the characters with stable popularity. There were characters, who were not only strong, but comical as well.
