May 29 is Hayami Saori’s birthday.

Hayami Saori made her debut in 2000’s. She won the assistant voice actress award in the 10th Seiyu Award. She appears in “86” and “The Irregular at Magic High School” in 2021.

To commemorate Hayami Saori’s birthday, we conducted the survey titled, “Who is your favorite character played by Hayami Saori?” following the previous year. The survey was conducted from May 16 to May 23, and received 606 responses.
There were slightly more male readers than female readers with approximately 60%, while female readers made up approximately 40%. The young readers made up the majority, where minors made up approximately 40%, and 20’s made up approximately 30%.

Yukinoshita Yukino from “My Romantic Comedy is Wrong As I Expected” ranked in the top for 3 consecutive years!

1st Place
The 1st place was Yukinoshita Yukino from “My Romantic Comedy is Wrong As I Expected”. The support rating was approximately 15%, and keeps the top for 3 years straight.

The comments about her said, “Hayami-san’s voice, is like water flowing out of a spring without any impurities and matched nicely with Yukinoshita, who has dignity and pride” and “Clear voice matched coolness with Yukinoshita, who is known as a Icy queen”.

The interaction with the protagonist Hikigaya Hachiman is also appealing and “it is appealing when she says something abusive . It is also nice to see nobles even when she has a bad mouth”. The change in the relationship with Hachiman is also charming that “She is somewhat similar to Hachiman, and I like how they start to recognize each other gradually”. The heroine of an anime that had it’s finale in 2020 showed outstanding popularity.

2nd Place
The 2nd place was Kochou Shinobu from “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba”. The support rating was approximately 13% and ranked higher compared to her ranking of 3rd last year.

The comments to Kochou Shinobu, who uses the breath of insect, said, “I like how she is calm and kind, but I also like how her voice becomes impressive when she faces a demon!”, “Shinobu is cool, but she is sometimes scary because her true identity is unclear. She is becoming even more charming with Hayami-san’s voice”, and “I love how her mouth is bad with with a kind voice”.
The Yukaku Arc for “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” is upcoming in 2021.

3rd Place
The 3rd place is Shiba Miyuki from “The Irregular at Magic High School”. The support rating was approximately 7% and ranked higher than the previous year.

She is the sister of the protagonist, and the comments to her said, “Hayami-san’s clear voice matches perfectly with Miyuki, who is perfect! I want to have my name called by her!”, and “Although she is calm, she has a strong dignity and cannot stay quiet when something goes wrong with her older brother. Characteristics of Miyuki are enhanced by Hayami-san’s voice”.
“The Regular at Magic High School”, which revolves around Miyuki, will start from July. High attention is gathered toward her action in the anime.

Madam Saori from “Hayami Saori’ Freestyle”: “She appears in Q&A session in her Hayami-san’s radio, and she shows Hayami-san’s ability to play the role which she usually doesn’t do”.

In the ranking 2021 ver., the characters who are not only cute, but have a uniqueness, including bad mouth and dual personality ranked high.
