Voice actor Ono Daisuke’s book “Mosu. 2” will be released on May 1, 2021. At the same time, an advance cut of the book shot at his alma mater, Nihon University College of Art, has been released.
This book is the second volume of the column “Mosu.” serialized in “Seiyu Grand Prix” and it contains the complete column of 7 years from March 2014 to February 2021, full of unreleased cuts. Each issue also features comments by Ono-san looking back on the past.
In addition, Yoshino Satsuki, the author of the TV anime “Barakamon” in which Ono-san played the main character Handa Seishu, will be in charge of the frontispiece.
For the photo shoot, they went to the Nihon University College of Art, Ono-san’s alma mater and the starting point of his life as a voice actor. In addition, a special dialogue project with sound directors Aketagawa Jin, Tsuruoka Youta, and Mima Masafumi, who have close ties to Ono-san, was also held. The interview is full of valuable stories that can only be heard here, such as auditioning for works where they co-starred, secret stories about post-recording, and episodes with the co-stars. They also had them talk about their impressions of Ono-san from a sound director’s point of view, his acting theory, and the future of voice acting.
“Ono Daisuke: Mosu. 2” will be released on May 1, 2021. It will be priced at 3,850 JPY (tax included).
