The synopsis and advance cutscene of ‘The Champion’, episode 7 of the TV anime “The Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation” Zenjin-hen, have been revealed. It was on air on Sunday, February 21, 2021.
“The Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation” is based on a BL novel which is written by Mo Xiang Tong Xiu and has been serialized on a website in China. The video has exceeded 11 billion views nationwide, and the Japanese dubbed version has been released.
Practitioners of suppressed Cultivational Qishan Wen Sect, who know much about violence, at Sunshot Campaign. Wei Wuxian contributed to the campaign, but the power of the dark path was so strong that he has gone to his fate.
After 13 years have passed, Wei Wuxian revives using magic, and sees his friends including Lan Wangji. The story traces back to the time when they were boys…

Wei Wuxian participates in the Grand Discussion hosted by the Wen Sect, and meets Wen Ning while he was practicing his archery. Wei Wuxian pulls a prank on Lan Wangji into thinking his headband is slanted, making the latter annoyed. While the Wen Sect is making their presence felt as leaders, Wen Ning fails to make a good shot due to nerves, and Wei Wuxian continues to praise him.
During the competition, Wen Chao breaks the rules as the Wen Sect is falling behind, and Lan Wangji appears to save him. Wei Wuxian pulls Lan Wangji’s entire band off with no offense, but this makes Lan Wangji really angry…
