The 2nd collaboration video between “Evangelion” and the global makeup brand “KATE”, “Ayanami Rei, Her First Lipstick, and…”, has been released on February 2, 2021. Bonus scenes drawn by illustrator Yoneyama Mai have been added to depict what happens to Ayanami after wearing her first lipstick.
“KATE” released “KATE Red Nude Rouge (EV)”, a collaboration product between “Evangelion”, for a limited number of online sales on February 2.

In the first collaboration video, released in November 2020, Hayashibara Megumi, the voice actor of “Ayanami Rei”, and Yoneyama Mai, an illustrator who worked on many key animations for various anime, were featured. The beautiful scene of Ayanami Rei wearing lipstick for the first time got a huge reaction on social media.
In this encore video, “Ayanami Rei, Her First Lipstick, and…”, has additional bonus scenes depicting what happened after Ayanami Rei put on her lipstick. Who is Ayanami Rei smiling at…? The final scene will stir your imagination.
