A new “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” stage play was announced in “Jump Festa 2021 Online”, on December 19, 2020. It will be coming in Summer 2021.

The stage play is based on the manga of the same title, which was serialized in “Weekly Shonen Jump” by Gotouge Koyoharu. The first performance was held in Tokyo and Hyogo in January 2020. The sword action and the music that matches the world of the original title brought attention to the stage play, which finished its last show with great success.

For the new show in Summer 2021, Suemitsu Kenichi will continue as the scriptwriter/director along with Wada Shunsuke as music composer. Kobayashi Ryouta as Kamado Tanirou, Takaishi Akari as Kamado Nezuko, Ueda Keisuke as Agatsuma Zenitsu, Satou Yuugo as Hashibira Inosuke, Honda Reo as Tomioka Giyuu, and Sasaki Yoshihide as Kibutsuji Muzan will also continue their roles.
