A new original anime was announced as a collaboration project between Utsumi Hiroko, known for titles such as “Free!”, and Bones, the studio behind “My Hero Academia”.
Bones was founded by the Sunrise former staff member Minami Masahiko and his colleagues in 1998. The studio has produced various anime series including “Fullmetal Alchemist”, “Eureka Seven”, “Bungou Straight Dogs”, “Mob Psycho 100”, and “My Hero Academia”. Its most recent title, “Josee, the Tiger and the Fish” is set to be released on Dec. 15, 2020.
Besides her notorious role in the production of “Free!”, Utsumi Hiroko was also in charge of “BANANA FISH” as a director.
What kind of creation will come life as the result of this collab is something to definitely look forward to.
The title of the anime will be publicly revealed along with other information on Sep. 20 at Shinjuku Yunika Vision, Tokyo.
