Sep. 9 is Kakuma Ai's birthday.

Kakuma Ai debuted as a voice actress in 2010. She is currently playing the main characters in many popular titles such as “Healin' Good PreCure” and “Dokyu Hentai HxEros”, and her appearance in topical works, including “Mushoku Tensei: Isekai Ittara Honki Dasu” in 2021 have been decided.
She is also active as a radio MC. In 2020, she started the radio program “HidaKuma” together with Hidaka Rina.

Here at Anime! Anime!, we conducted a reader survey to celebrate Kakuma Ai's birthday, “What is your favorite character played by Kakuma Ai?”. 113 responses had been received during the survey period from Aug. 25 to Sep. 3.
The ratio of males and females is approximately 70% for males and 30% for females. The age group was about 25% for minors, about 30% in their 20s, and about 30% in their 30s.

1st place went to Karibuchi Hikari from “Brave Witches” with an approval rating of about 12%.

Karibuchi Hikari is the main protagonist of the anime “Brave Witches” under the “Strike Witches” series. She is a positive-thinking girl who confronts the enemy of humanity, Neuroi.
Readers pointed on her lively character, “She's always so energetic and cute”, and also her way to sneeze, “She sneezing cutely”.
In 2021, the new work “World Witches Take Off!” will be broadcast. Please check it out.

2nd place
2nd place went to Makomo from “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba”.

Makomo is a mysterious girl, who appeared in front of the main protagonist, Kamado Tanjirou, and guided him. Readers commented, “I felt her kindness when she advised the main protagonist”, and “I like how Makomo-chan's fluffy voice matches Kakuma-san!”. Some fans said they were surprised by the secrets, saying, “There were a few scenes with her, but her strength and cuteness had left an impression.”

3rd place
3rd place went to Rabirin from “Healin' Good PreCure”.

Rabirin is a healing rabbit-like fairy and partner of the main protagonist, Hanadera Nodoka. Its sense of justice gained popularity, “It often does ridiculous things due to it being enthusiastic, but it is always full of energy and a hard worker. It is a cute and good partner for Nodoka.”, and “The way how it always tries its best is cute.” It is a cute character who end its sentence with “rabi”.
